About Vacasa, CA - Morongo Basin Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Almost Heaven

  • 4 of 5

Lily Rock is very clean and spacious with all the kitchen amenities one could possibly need. The huge deck is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the mountain vista. Although the town is not far, I wouldn't recommend walking, as the main road is a bit treacherous. All in all, this really is a nice, quiet property.

This home was clean, well equipped and near restaurant, store, etc. it was peaceful and the outdoor space was large and beautiful. My friend left her charger in the home and we asked if we could pay to have it mailed. We were told by VACASA that they would be happy to mail the charger for $25 plus shipping. I could have bought four more chargers for $25. I thought that was an unprofessional and unwarranted response.

Wonderful cabin!

  • 4 of 5

My family stayed here last minute getaway, and the cabin was immaculately clean, very well taken care of, very cozy with a beautiful view of the meadow and mountain! We loved the big window in the living room that allows you to sit and gaze out at nature and its beauty! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and private, so if you have more than one family on the trip. The outdoor deck was awesome to enjoy as well! The kitchen has updated appliances and spacious, but it would have been nice to have cooking spatulas, regular size coffee cups ( they were smaller tea cups) and more knives for cooking. Another than that, we had an amazing trip and this will be our go-to cabin in the future!<br />

This was a very comfortable cabin. We all enjoyed our stay - light snow, beautiful view of the meadow and wildlife, a nice warm fireplace. I would definitely choose this cabin to stay at again!

This place was perfect for our family of 4! Highlights: single story, beautiful view!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great 2-night stay and the kids are already asking when we can go back. The huge windows were perfect for wildlife viewing without getting bundled up for the cold (we saw coyotes, woodpeckers, squirrels, and hawks), and the deck was perfect for enjoying the warm sunshine. The whole place was inviting and clean and the 2 king beds were comfortable. The layout was really nice with 2 masters in either side of the entry so could easily accommodate 2 couples or give the kiddos in a family a little “autonomy.”

The meadow is off limits (water district property) - this would be helpful info in the description - but still provided a lovely view.

We loved that it was single story (no worries for our little ones) but still had tons of space to play inside on a cold rainy day.

It was only a few minute drive from the nature center and just a few minutes more to town so the location was ideal. It was also easily accessible (no steep roads to navigate even if it were icy).

We’ll be back again :)
