Great Condo!

  • 5 of 5

The Condo was really conveniently located. Close to beach, downtown, and Shem's Creek area.

Tania was very responsive to all my questions. The Condo was very well decorated and equipped, and had a great atmosphere. We felt immediately welcome. The pictures don't reflect how spacious the Condo is.

We will definitely stay here next time we come to the Charleston area!

Such a perfect couples getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Overall, the condo was a great place to stay for both relaxation and Charleston main attractions! We hit all of the hot restaurants (The Ordinary, Hall's Chophouse Sunday Gospel brunch and Husk were outstanding!) as well as local favorites i.e. Page's Okra Grill. The pool and parking were lovely amenities, and we would uber into town at night (only 10-14 dollars and a quick 10 min trip). A quick ride to Boone Hall plantation and the beaches as well. We truly loved how clean, well-maintained, quiet, and welcoming the property and complex was. We could not have asked for a better time, utilizing all aspects of the city and the surrounding area without feeling overcrowded or over-budget. Will absolutely come again!

Location, location, location!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 9 nights at this lovely condo in Mt Pleasant. This was an r&r for us and the property suited us perfectly. Not only was it very comfortable for relaxing but it's location was just what we wanted:15 minutes to the city and 15 to the beach. Couldn't have done better. We never made it to the pool as sightseeing and the beach took most of our time.

While the weather started out awful (pouring rain then chilly-enough nights to need heat), we ended up with 6 spectacular days.

The condo could use a few more bits to make settling in easier--more local information, maps, local events--that sort of thing--but it really did have everything we needed. We are retirees with limited income so preparing breakfasts and a few dinners was easy--stores not far (too many choices, actually!). More dishes and glassware would have been helpful but we did just fine.

It did take a bit of time to get familiar with the city (where parking garages were in relation to where we wanted to be): rates are about $2/hour which is similar to DC. We're not big shoppers but quickly learned that sweetgrass baskets in the city are more $$ than along Rte 17...selection may not be as great but the current prices are very steep.

We booked a dinner at the Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan's Island (per owner's suggestion) and loved the food (a bit noisy for my hard-of-hearing husband but they put us near a window which helped enormously) as well as the drive around the island after. We also found a new restaurant in Mt Pleasant town center (north of the condo) called Napa which was just wonderful.

Isle of Palms beach was lovely (parking along the road is easy: make sure you locate a beach-access walkway first).

We did find cost of seeing houses in town to be pretty steep: we're used to DC museums which are mostly free. We did go to Magnolia Planation which was interesting. It was a tad disappointing because a recent freeze had nipped most of the blooms.

For anyone wanting both beach and sightseeing, this is an ideal location and perfect for a couple.
