Appartment very nice, great location for what I needed but had several issues.
I’d like someone to contact me in reference to the issues I encountered with the apartment 103/490 Dandenong Road, Caulfield North.
1) Keys - the apartment key grabbed and at times not easy to use and the second key similar to the first did not operate any locks I tried and I would gather it was for the passage gate to the complex outside and the third but smaller key fitted into the windows but did not turn and as the result I was unable to open any of the windows for fresh air which was very poor and the only ventilation from outside was from the glass sliding door with no fly screen.
2) Both bathroom doors - Main bathroom door did not close properly and the user was unable to close it correctly for privacy.
En-suite door had the latch engaged halfway which made it stick in the mortise lock and at times we were unable to open the door easily and required a more than reasonable amount of force to open, again this became a safety and privacy issue due to uncertainty of the door opening, very poor, i did try to move open and close the locking mechanism but it seemed to have been jammed in that place.
3) Netflix - It was stated Netflix would be available but the power cord could not reach the power point until I had moved the TV cabinet closer to it as well as the TV itself, only then could I plug it in. I followed the instructions correctly as you had instructed, only to have information on the screen saying payment required by the registered person/s and it needs an extension lead????.
4) Contact-ability - We had arrived on Thursday 15/11/2018 about 6pm, tried all of the above but as it became late and with an early morning start the following day retired early. Upon first available chance I rang the Office number just prior to 4pm on the 16/11/2018 with no answer from any staff member but left a message for someone to contact me back. Again I rang the after hours number just prior to 6pm 16/11/2018 with no answer from any staff member but left a message similar to the first but with a little more detail. I'm still waiting for return call.
Overall the apartment met our needs whilst visiting family in this area.
