This is a family owned and operated studio condo just purchased in 2016, and newly renovated. The condo is located in the historic Ansonborough neighborhood of downtown Charleston, on a beautiful street only a few blocks from old Market, Rainbow Row, the Battery, and only a 3 minute walk to Harris Teeter which is the only full service grocery store in downtown Charleston. This area of Charleston is known for its world class restaurants and first class shopping, and is only a short drive to the beaches of Sullivan's Island and Folly Beach.

The condo is fully furnished and offers a queen bed, full kitchen with gas range, full bath, washer and dryer, private top floor porch, internet with Roku, hardwood floors, gas fire place, plantation shutters, and free gated parking space! Call or email owner for custom pricing options.

Why Property Manager chose Ansonborough

One of the first things visitors to Charleston notice is the number of long and narrow homes that display beautiful covered porches. The Charleston Single house is an icon of Charleston Architecture. The construction of Charleston single houses dates back to near the origins of the City of Charles Town in the 1680s. The single house is identified by the long verandas, or porches, that run the length of the structures and serve as exterior spaces and effectively exterior hallways. The interiors of Charleston single houses are consistent, usually one room wide and several rooms long. It’s the exteriors of the houses that come in many shapes and styles, including Georgian, Federal, Italianate and many many more. Another feature of the single house is the ‘front door’, which actually leads to the ground level porch or patio and to the actual front door. These doors provided added privacy and security for residents.

Cozy and comfortable with all the amenities needed. Great location to walk almost anywhere downtown yet only a short drive to My. Pleasant to visit our daughter. Two large flights of stairs were the only drawback but we knew that going in.

Great studio in a great location!

Great unit. We were here for three days and it worked perfectly for us.

We loved the location - easy walk to lots of restaurants and shopping.

Owner was attentive and checked to make sure all was good.

We would repeat this one.

Great City... Great Downtown Location

We spent 8 nights in Susan's lovely downtown Charleston condo. It was perfect in every way. Wear good walking shoes in this area of restaurants, museums, historical sites, tours and the waterfront. We took road trips to Savannah (2 hours), Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. We ate daily breakfast in the condo after buying groceries down the street at Harris Teeter. The condo is larger than what the photos depict and the linens and amenities are so nice. Loved that parking space! This condo is just as advertised... or maybe even better! Thanks, Susan.

Great place to stay and convenient to all activities near by

We just spent 3 great days in Charleston and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan's condo. It was very comfortable, well appointed, and in a great location. We were close to the Market, King street, and East Bay Street where we visited our favorite galleries and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Charleston.

Parked our car on Thursday and left on Sunday. Never needed a car since everything was within walking distance. Perfect location!

Perfect for two

We were looking for something right downtown in the historic part of Charleston and we couldn't have found a more perfect spot- quiet, quaint street with one historic home after another and easy walking distance to everything we could possibly want to do. Our owner was attentive and so very helpful with answers to questions and recommendation on everything. Our first experience with HomeAway and we will definitely look into it for our next getaway!
