About Marsha Pincus
As owner of this well-loved and beautifully appointed vacation rental, Marsha Pincus is excited to welcome guests to enjoy the creative and inspirational life style she's discovered living in downtown Santa Fe. Marsha is an educator, writer and visual artist who has relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, after years of traveling here for writing retreats and other creative projects. She taught English and Drama in Philadelphia for 34 years, where several of her high school students had their original plays produced off-Broadway. She has the distinction of being the only Philadelphia public school teacher to win the Teacher of the Year Award twice - in 1988 and 2005. After her retirement in 2008, Marsha reconnected with her own creativity and began writing seriously while also studying printmaking, photography and mosaics. And it has been quite generative! Creator of a one woman show, "Chalkdust," Marsha’s screenplay "Small Steps" won honorable mention in the 2016 Screenwriting Festival. Her collages and mosaics have been shown in Philadelphia galleries. A teacher at heart, Marsha has been serving as a Creative Consultant to other writers, leading writing groups and designing workshops for accessing and developing the creativity of post-career women - a topic very close to her heart. She is also a trained "Storyhealers" facilitator who works with groups of people to write, shape and share their stories of courage and healing on local stages. Please come and let the Biscochito Holiday Casita share its charms with you.

Why Marsha Pincus chose Downtown
Prior to purchasing the Biscochito Holiday Casita,, I had been coming to New Mexico for many years, drawn here by the natural beauty of the landscape and the vibrant art, theater and writing scenes. I first stayed in the casita as a guest in 2014 when I was working with a local director on a one woman show. I had seen the listing on VRBO and thought that it would be a good place for my seven week writing retreat. Turned out it was PERFECT!!! Just the right size, perfectly equipped, quiet and private, the casita provided a comfortable home away from home where I could write undisturbed during the day and enjoy the plaza at night. In 2015, I fulfilled one of my dreams when I returned to Santa Fe to perform a staged reading of my show "Chalkdust." And in 2016, I fulfilled a second dream when I became the proud owner of the very casita that had been the source of my inspiration and creativity. I made a few changes to make the casita especially amenable for writers and renamed it Two Ravens Studio, in honor of the couple of ravens who live in the nearby trees. Known as messenger birds in many cultures, these two ravens offer protection and inspiration to all who stay here. Whether you are here to work on a creative project, to see the sites and enjoy the cultural life, or you just need some quiet time for yourself for meditation, Two Ravens Studio is ready to welcome you.
What makes this House unique
Guests to Two Ravens Studio will find all the benefits of a quiet retreat just blocks from the famous Santa Fe Plaza with museums, restaurants and world class shops and galleries. The brick patio, enclosed by a rustic coyote fence provides privacy and additional living space for Spring, Summer and Autumn. Great hideaway close to the plaza!
We loved the quiet location, parking and were able to walk everywhere!
Comfy Casita for Two!
Charming, cozy, comfy casita in the heart of the Plaza area in Santa Fe provided all the amenities one could ask for! The owner provides excellent accommodations and is accessible for questions. Loved my time here at Two Ravens Studio!
Walking in Sante Fe
This is a clean, comfortable and convenient studio that accommodates 1-2 people. My wife and I had a great 4-night stay for our first visit to Sante Fe. Could walk easily throughout most of the city -- shopping, museums, restaurants and theater. Also a quick drive to many trails in the surrounding hills for hiking. This property is quiet (well off a quiet street) and had parking as well. Very positive experience.
Great communication. An overall A+
We will be back.
Great Location for Walking
We like the location of this casita as it is just blocks away from the plaza, galleries and museums. Exceptionally clean! The bed was not comfortable for us but that is just personal preference and didn't diminish our enjoyment. We have stayed in several different locations in past visits and we really liked this studio.
Umteen incredible restaurants (our local favorites list provided), top-notch museums (Georgia O’Keeffe, New Mexico Museum of Art, Museum of International Folk Art, Wheelwright Museum, Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, the wonderful new New Mexico History Museum, Santa Fe Children’s Museum, Palace of the Governors), art galleries on Canyon Road or contemporary galleries on Guadalupe or Railyard Space, performance arts (Santa Fe Opera, Chamber Music Festival, Lensic Performing Arts Center, and much more!) the International Balloon Festival (day-trip to Albuquerque), Indian Market, Spanish Market, and outdoor recreation from skiing at the Santa Fe Ski Basin to hiking to Tent Rocks or Bandelier National Monument or bicycling the trails or through the mountains. Train rides on the double-decker Railrunner. Limitless entertainment .
