When we purchased this three-bedroom, two-bath condo in Daytona Beach, all that was left from a previous renovation was a mess. We customized the floor plan and updated everything, creating a luxurious, modern vacation haven. The only things original to the unit are the studs under the drywall. We put in new walls, floors, furniture, cabinets, TVs, plumbing -- we replaced it all. Our decision to rent this beautiful unit is your gain!

When you unlock the door and catch your first glimpse, you’ll have that feeling. You know, the “Oh! This is what a vacation should look like!” feeling. We’ve rented enough condos to know that your vacation deserves more than outdated furnishings and bare necessities. We strive to anticipate and meet every need.

This direct, ocean-view haven has fabulous views of the Atlantic, so you’ll be able to enjoy the sun rising over the waves each morning (if you pull back the shades!). And, with a generous, wrap-around balcony, you can watch the sunset over the Halifax River to the west.

If you’re looking for a break from the sand and salt, you’ll be able to relax in the Horizons’ oceanfront swimming pool, which offers a large sun deck and showers for your convenience. The pool is reserved just for the guests of the Horizons and their friends and family. Beach chairs are provided for your use by the pool.

For those more adventurous souls who want more than just the quiet solitude of beach life, why not try windsurfing or kayaking? Rentals are available in close proximity. Perhaps you would enjoy playing a round of golf or a visit to nearby, historic St. Augustine? Or maybe you have your eye on bustling Orlando or magical Disney World? This condo's location allows easy access to all the above. A brand new Tanger Outlet Mall recently opened in Daytona Beach, giving the area even more opportunities to shop 'til you drop. The Daytona Beach Pier and entertainment area is just 1-1/2 miles south, but it is far enough away for a quiet beach.

Special occasions—such as Speed Week or Bike Week—bring incredible excitement to the beach. Watch the airshow from our balcony or catch a glimpse of other Daytona visitors as they show off their motorcycles with style.

Our condo's split-floor plan creates privacy for all guests. The tastefully appointed master suite comes with a king-sized, pillow-top bed wrapped in luxurious linens. The master bath includes double sinks, a walk-in closet for her, and a separate closet for him. There's no need to live out of a suitcase. The second bedroom has a queen bed and its own vanity sink area, along with a private entrance to the guest bath, which creates a second master suite. The third bedroom has two twin beds and an breathtaking view of the river. All bedrooms have cable TV, ample drawer and closet space, and extra towels (including beach towels!) and linens. The twin bedroom TV has a built-in DVD player.

Large, flat-panel TVs are provided in the each bedroom, and cable TV is available in all bedrooms and the living room. A DVD video library is provided with some great titles. We also have books for your reading pleasure with our "take one, leave one" policy. You can also stay connected using our high-speed, wireless internet.

Enjoy watching the waves without getting up from the luxury of leather furniture, as the living room opens to the spacious balcony. A variety of board games and puzzles are provided for your family's enjoyment. The stylish dining room also provides a great view of the ocean. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances is stocked with everything that you and your family will need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals on those days when you just want to stay in and relax.

A full-size, front-loading washer and dryer are located in our unit. Other units in the building share the community laundry, but not you, so leave your quarters at home!

The Horizons in Daytona Beach, Florida, is a secure, wheelchair-accessible building with key entry only. On-site managers and security make sure that your vacation is enjoyable. A garage door opener will open the private, underground parking garage where you will have your own assigned space. Shopping carts make it easy to bring in your luggage and groceries.

About Mark & Sharon

My wife and I live near the other coast of Florida, but we love the more active Daytona area. I grew up on the Gulf and watched the old people. The young and the young at heart come to Daytona.

We love to travel and spend time with our adult children. We are sports fans and like to go to sporting events around the country. We spend time doing short term mission work with our church.

As we began to look toward retirement, we decided to buy some vacation rentals. We have two other condos in the area. We love to host people and try to think of supplying all those things that we take for granted at home, but find absent in rental condos. We do a few home exchanges and that helps us look at this as a 'home' instead of a rental.

When you are here, we might see you or not! We love meeting new great people but we know some people like their privacy. Sometimes, we do, too.

Why Mark & Sharon chose Daytona Beach

We own two other condos in the same building. This one came on the market and when we saw the view, we decided we just had to have it. The building is a great vacation rental property. The building management is friendly and helpful. We could not ask for a better place.

What makes this condo unique

This condo is on a great part of Daytona Beach. It is part of the northern beach which is close to the action but on the quieter part. From our north balcony, you can see for miles.

  • Master Bath has twin vanities and lots of storage space. There is a private toilet/shower room that is separate from the vanity/dressing area. There is a very large walk in shower. The master bathroom is part of the master suite which includes separate his and hers closets. The master is very well lit and bright. A large window provides natural light in the make up area. Bathroom #2 is the guest bath to be shared by bedrooms 2 and 3. However, there is a separate vanity in bedroom #2 so that guests can get ready at the same time. In the bath, there is a vanity, toilet and tub/shower combination. We provide plenty of extra towels for our guests. Soap and shampoo will get you started.

You will not need to live out of a suitcase.The bedroom has a large screen HD TV for night time viewing. The master has large windows and great views of both the ocean and the river. Enjoy a glass of wine on your private master balcony as the sun goes down. Bedroom #2 becomes a second master suite with a queen bed and a private vanity. There is a door directly to the guest bath for additional privacy. The guest bedroom are on a split floorplan and give privacy to the master bedroom. Bedroom #2 has a walk in closet and a flat screen HD TV. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds plus a twin sized roll away. This bedroom also has a walk in closet and a flat screen HD TV. This bedroom has my favorite view from the round windows. You have to see it to understand.

The property is great and well keep. When we go to Daytona we always stay at the Horizons. We have stayed in quite a few different condos there and this is the best by far.

AMAZING!

Our family stay at Mark and Sharon's unit was unbelievably. First, the space was more than accommodating for our group of 6. We were all able to enjoy being together without feeling like we were on top of each other. The views each morning were amazing, and access to the beach and the pool could not be beat. Our time could not have been spent any better than it was, and we owe a large part of that to all of the attention to detail of this great unit!

Breathtaking views!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo and owners. It is obvious they are very thoughtful people and want you to enjoy their home as much as they do. The views are beautiful, the building is very clean and safe (a lot of locked gates, which is very comforting). The owners have made sure you have EVERYTHING needed for a wonderful vacation....all amenities and more! My son over did the sun and it was very late at night when his sunburn started to hurt and I checked under the bathroom sink and found aloe gel! The showers had shampoo/conditioner and soap. The laundry room had soap! The condo is beautiful and very comfy. I loved our time there as a family and will definitely come back! Thank you for a memorable week with my family! Thank you! Thank you!
