About Craig Corser
I live in Alberta, Canada. I am involved in secondary wood manufacturing, elk farming and organic food production. My wife Kelly and I, have been married for 32 years. We have three adult children and three grandchildren. We all love Tortola and Cane Garden Bay.
Craig Corser purchased this Cottage in 1979
Why Craig Corser chose Tortola
This property was originally purchased and developed by an uncle and eleven other 'cockeyed optimists' from Alberta, Canada, in 1979. My father bought out eight of these twelve in 1990 and upgraded the property. I got involved soon after and have been managing the property for about 20 years. We have continuously improved the property, including a full renovation in 2013.
What makes this Cottage unique
We are located at the quiet end of Cane Garden Bay, literally steps from the beach and a short level walk to everything you need. Our property is 1.75 acres and is unique in that we have a large, lush private yard, shaded by coconut palms and almond trees. There are hammocks to relax in and high speed wireless internet for your convenience. There is a tiny, family run bar and general store right next door. Rental cars are available locally. We did a full renovation of the property in October of 2013. We added a 14' x 18' gazebo to the yard. The gazebo houses a charcoal grill and tables. With four rental units (see VRBO Listing #'s 357970, 914871 and 914873 for details on the other three units) and a large private yard, we are a great place for family vacations, weddings and business meetings.

Another fantastic stay on Cane Garden Bay
Loved our stay at the Cane Garden Bay Cottages. It is such a great location and the cottages are fully equipped to meet all your needs. This was not our 1st stay at the cottages, as we have stayed here several times, and plan to stay here on future Tortola visits. From booking to pre arrival communication and check in day, everything was so easy and handled very well. A stay at the cottages makes you feel like your living on Cane Garden Bay and not just visiting. We enjoy cooking breakfast and sitting out on the front porch soaking up the joy of starting our Tortola day in our cottage and returning after a fun beach day for Happy Hour on the porch.
The cottage has a cooler, beach chairs, towels and umbrella to make sure you have a fun time. Your just a few minutes walk to the incredible waters and beach at Cane Garden Bay, nearby restaurants, markets, and the Distillery. Or a short drive to ferry's in Road Town and West End for fun day trips to Jost Van Dyke, Virgin Gorda and Anegada. Or just spend your days and nights enjoying Cane Garden Bay, which we do often. Thanks Craig, Sam and PattyAnn for helping make our stay at the Cane Garden Bay Cottages such a great time. We'll be back in touch soon to book our next stay with you.
Happy Regards, Al n Jerry
We really liked the cottage and and the beautiful grounds.
Even though the cottage is dated, we had everything we needed for a lovely vacation. Having beach chairs, an umbrella, and an ice chest was great for spending the days at the beach. The staff was excellent and accommodating for our requests. We definitely are looking forward to staying here again on a future trip.
Excellent relaxing stay at Cane Garden Bay

Weather was beautiful, beach bars and locals fantastic. The close proximity to the beach made this even more a special place to stay. Well orangnised with management there if needs be, facilities great. Once again many thanks - highly recommended.
