About Vacasa of the Texas Gulf Coast
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Had a great time with my family!
First off I loved the location and the neighborhood where we stayed. Very quiet neighborhood, no noisy neighbors, really close & walking distance to the non-crowded beach. Perfect for a family with children. The few things I did not care for tho is 1) the extremely steep spiral staircase leading to the big bedroom upstairs. After walking up & down it a few dozen times every day for 4 days its really a workout, I’ll tell you lol. So just be aware if you’re sensitive to stairs and choose a different bedroom that’s available downstairs And 2) the bugs. Now that being said the bugs had nothing to do with the cleanliness of the house, at all! It’s a beach, you’re going to get lots of little flying & crawly bugs so close to the beach. But there were no roaches or anything like that, just beachy flying insects so again that was understandable! And no mosquitoes either! Yay! So don’t let that part sway your decision to stay here! We really had a great time and we loved the house and location, and just had an overall wonderful time. The house was very cute and beachy decorated, and suited our needs for a family of 5 consisting of my husband and I, our grown and our teenaged daughters, and 5 yr old granddaughter. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next beach vacation. Thank you so much!!
**We bought 2 boogie boards while we were there and had no room in our car to pack them up when we left to come home, so we left them under the car port in the big box where the owners stored other beach toys and items (not sure if you’re allowed to use those or not as we didn’t find them until trying to find somewhere to store the boards when we were leaving). Thought someone else might enjoy using them on their vacation too :-)
Everything was good.
Sea Breeze Cottage
Our stay at the Sea Breeze Cottage in Galveston was great. From easy check-in process to having plenty of dishes and other amenities available, pretty much everything that we needed was in the home. The only thing that we discovered that we did not have was trash bags, but that was an easy fix. The location was also great, as it is very close to the beach and we wanted to be outside of Galveston while still a short drive into town for Seawall and restaurants. Highly recommended.
Great house for a family getaway!!
We absolutely loved the house! The views are incredible and the beach is just an easy walk away. Short drive to all the attractions of the area. The house was clean and well-equipped for our family of 4 plus the dog. Minor complaints that could improve things, but didn't really take away from the overall experience are things like blinds, windows and a sink that didn't work correctly and the gas grill that was out of fuel. Great property and we would definitely consider staying again if we make a return visit to the area. Thanks!!
David, we are so glad to hear you enjoyed the home and the beautiful area. Thank you for the comments and suggestions on how to improve the home.
We look forward to hosting you again. Thank you.
