Could have not picked a better place to stay. With Eldorado Canyon as your back yard and a hour away from Rocky mountain park, or hour south to Idaho springs your right in the middle of everything. It was very clean and had everything we needed. John wasn't there but his son was, a great guy and gave us alot of info. Highly recommend. Thanks for letting us stay, hope to be back soon.
Quaint, Great Location
This is in a great location - away from the bustle, but just 15 minutes from Boulder. A short walk up to the canyon (small note for future renters: note there is a $3 walk-in fee - no problem we just didn’t know that and had to walk back to get money). Nothing fancy, but has everything you need with a comfy bed and an awesome hot shower after a day of hiking!
Great location in Eldorado Springs.
If you want to be in the canyon this is a great place to stay.
Great getaway for a couple.
Location is a bit off the beaten path, yet minutes to Boulder for shopping and restaurants. Within walking distance to the Eldorado Springs Canyon park.
The apartment is cozy and comfortable. It offers one the outdoors and nature, yet close to city life. We would certainly book here again.
Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay in Eldorado Springs. The apartment was adequate and met our needs. It was relatively clean. We arrived on Labor Day weekend and it was a zoo in the area, people everywhere! After Monday it quieted down and was relaxing. The apartment is right on a road so there is some traffic noise, but nothing that we aren't use to. The location was great as it's close to Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park and many other areas. I would like to make two suggestions to the owner, the first being it would have been nice to have a light weight blanket for the bed instead of the heavy comforter that was on the bed. Second, there are quite a few cob webs in the corners and on the screen between the bed and living area. I would suggest a good dusting. I actually wiped the wall and the back of the bathroom door down to get rid of the cob webs so we could hang bath towels up. Overall we would recommend the apartment and we would stay here again if ever in the area.
Perfect for me!
This small studio was a perfect place for me to sleep in between all my adventures. Hiking in Eldorado Springs canyon is literally steps away from the door. Boulder is only a few minutes away with great restaurants and opportunities to do things like mountain biking. Denver is an easy drive, too, if you are headed to a whiskey tour or concert. Estes Park is a little over an hour in the other direction. The bed is comfy; the shower nice & warm after a day spent exploring.
