Great place to stay! Right off the highway, but nestled up in the woods off the road. Carol was very accommodating to our needs. Definitely recommend!

We had a great experience at this property! It was exactly what we needed and wanted. Very comfortable and cozy. I was thrilled that I could bring my dogs! We did a bunch of hiking during our short time there and really enjoyed it.

Comfy and Cozy

  • 4 of 5

My stay was just a getaway for a couple of days. My friend and I hiked all day in the Buffalo and after taking in all the beautiful sights , coming home to this cabin was a delight. Everything we could have asked for was conveniently there. I wish I could have spent more time just hanging in the cabin because it was so adorable. The bed was comfortable, and the room was intimate yet spacious. I felt very at home there as all needs were met in the kitchen and bathroom. The back porch was awesome for playing guitar and having a drink to end the adventurous day.

Carol was very kind and accommodating.

I didn't give it 5 stars only because we didn't realize it was a few cabins together. and we wanted more solitude. That was due to lack of information on our part.

Owner's Response: I wish people realized if you really liked the cabin, it should be 5 stars. The cabins are about 4 car lengths apart. The 4 stars puts me down on the list.

Lovely upscale cabin

  • 5 of 5

The property has 3 cabins and a house for rent, it is in the large (pop.14000) town of Harrison, just off a main through fair BUT... You go up this long private paved little lane, beautifully wooded to the top, where you can see no other homes but the 4 belonging to the rental property. The cabins were chic country, well appointed with all necessary equipment and cleaning supplies and dishes to live. Exceptionally clean. The king sized bed in the middle cabin was absolutely perfect! So luxurious, perfect sheets and pillows and just ... soft and comfortable. I really wanted to take it home! The a.c. was excellent, could freeze you out! She had unexpected touches throughout, like salt pepper and bbq spice, charcoal and lighter fluid, coffee and creamer. WiFi connection. Big yards, the cabins were close to one another, house was further up road. I saw deer in the yard.

Wonderful and Relaxing Cabine

  • 5 of 5

We found this wonderful little cabin through a google search and were very pleased staying here. Cabin contained everything we needed plus internet and TV (including laundry facilities). The King bed was very comfortable and there was also a queen pullout that we didn't need.

The grounds, 18 acres, gave lot of room for our large dog (120 lb) to run and chase the squirrels and a small coyote (I think).

The only unfortunate part of our stay was a storm day of arrival and we weren't able to get out and take in the sites in the area as most of the places we wanted to go were either snow covered, ice bound or closed roads. And we were forced to remain on the property as we did not have a 4x4 vehicle. So we just stayed put and enjoyed the cabin, and relaxation that went with it.

Everything, absolutely everything was cozy and comfortable.....NOW we want to go back either late summer, early fall so we can drive around and enjoy the sites but we would plan to stay a bit longer than the 3 days we originally booked.

Owner is a wonderful person and we were fortunate to meet her and hope to see her again - thank you Carol for this opportunity.
