Gogoll Escape is located at 5 Gogoll Cresent ,Torquay it is located in central Torquay with a fifteen minute walk to the Gilbert Street restaurants and ten minutes to Torquay's renowned swimming beaches. The property has been recently built and the accommodation unit is upstairs with private access via the front door. The owners occupy the downstairs section of the property.
Entry is via the front door which will not be utilized by anyone else during your stay. the front foyer is for your private use.
There is reverse cycle airconditioning in the lounge area and ceiling fan in the bedroom. Wifi is available at no additional charge.
The surfworld museum and surf clothing outlets are nearby on the surfcoast highway.
The property is for couples and is located upstairs with a front entrance and off street parking. There is a portacot and high chair for a young child. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom with shower and bath and a living room with a TV and small kitchenette, convection microwave , dining table and chairs. Linen is supplied - one set per stay - please provide your own beach towels. The unit is not serviced during your stay. Although the accommodation is a B&B style unit breakfast is not provided apart from milk and essentials. A breakfast pack can be arranged for an additional charge of $25 if required - please advise at the time of booking if you require this option.
A 105cm flat screen television and DVD player is provided in the living area with a three seat leather couch. The lounge area has sea views. There is no balcony.
There is onsite parking for one vehicle. Check-in instructions will be provided on final payment for you booking. Our terms and conditions of rental are based on a sample agreement recommended by Stayz.
The property is non smoking and does not allow pets. There is a portacot and high chair available. Please note the property has stairs.
Terms and conditions of Holiday rental for Gogoll Escape.
This agreement applies between the property owners and you the person(s) renting the property -the visitor. Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
(1) Booking deposit.
A deposit of 20% of the rental is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The property is let to you for the period stated in the booking confirmation. Extensions may be requested subject to availability. You agree not to sublet the property or any part of it.
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 28 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-let it.
All amounts are in Australian dollars.
(2) Cancellation and refund policy
For cancellations made prior to 60 days before arrival a full refund will be provided less any fees retained by Stayz.
For cancellations made 14 to 60 days before arrival, a refund of all payments less the 20% booking fee will be given.
For cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival 50% of the total booking cost will be forfeited. The owners may ,at their discretion, reduce this fee if the property is re-let for the whole or part of the period of the booking.
No refunds will be given where the cancellation is made after the commencement of the accommodation period.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
(3) Security deposit.
No security deposit is applied.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival and please adhere to recycling and garbage removal programs. . Check-out time is 11:00am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
(4) Residential Amenity and Good Neighbourly Behaviour.
Disturbance to our neighbours and co-tenants, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of security deposit. Noise in particular should be kept to a minimum between 10.00pm and 8.00am.
Linen is provided - one set per bed per stay period. Please bring your own beach towels.
Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not permitted .
(5) Liabilty & Rental Guarantee
You agree to indemnify the property owners from any loss of personal effects or financial damage direct or indirect whatsoever incurred by you in renting the property.
The visitor must every time they depart the property securely lock doors and windows and switch off lighting and appliances and water to conserve resources and avoid damage.
The visitor will report any repairs required and damage to the property.
(6) Right to inspect the Property.
The owner(s) have the right to inspect the property during the rental period subject to reasonable prior notice unless the owners has reasonable grounds to believe the property is being damaged or the terms and conditions of this agreement breached in which case immediate access is permitted.
(7) Right of refusal and application of special conditions.
The owner(s) may refuse at their discretion to accept any visitor. The owners may require other special conditions to be applied.
The owners will not share your personal details with any third party unless required to complete your booking, provide services to you or settle your account.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner(s) in writing.
