About Adrian Kayman
I'm a coffee, wine and food fanatic from Melbourne Australia who's lived my entire life - more than half a century and counting - in Melbourne near the city along the bay. Additionally I travel regularly - at least a couple of times a year to Asia and Europe. I've come to understand what it is that makes a great stay - or a bad one. Now I strive to replicate the very best of my own travel accommodation experiences.
Adrian Kayman purchased this House in 2016
Why Adrian Kayman chose Saint Kilda West
I actually used to play on this squash court back in the day. The conversion to townhouses in the late 90's was interesting and innovative but this property was sadly neglected in the intervening 20 years. But the bones were really beautiful. Bringing it back to its former glory while preserving the vestiges of the former squash court was a bit of a labour of love. I'm delighted with the result - the house looks stunning and is really comfortable to stay in.
What makes this House unique
The townhouse is architecturally stunning. An imposing facade. Elegant front garden beds. A beautiful Tuscan style alfresco terrace. Most of all, the amazing height of the void above the living area and the timber and steel staircase that seems to ascend forever.

Fantastic stay at The Court
My family and I recently visited Australia for the first time and our stay at The Court was better than we could imagine. Adrian was so accommodating, communicative, and friendly. The home was very clean, stocked with essentials and more, and very comfortable with plenty of room for privacy. Adrian thought of all of the little details, such as transportation options, instruction on how to use all devises in the home, even menus for local cuisine all in an organized binder. The home was clean, comfortable, and decorated up to date. The natural lighting with all of the large windows was a true highlight and our favorite part of the morning was opening all of the window coverings and having a nice cup of joe listening to the birds singing out on the roomy and beautiful lanai. Lovely home and very nice owner! I'd recommend it to anyone!
Thank you for this brilliant review. It sounds like you appreciated all the features we love about the house, particularly the huge windows and the wonderful sense of space. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. It would be great to welcome you back if you ever find yourself in this part of the world again.
THE place to stay
The house was amazing! Perfect for families to stay all together but also very spacious. Adrian was an excellent host! Very helpful during my stay. The house is located in an amazing area. The trams make it easy to get everywhere. The supermarket is right around the corner. If I was to stay in the St.Kilda area again I would definitely stay here a second time!
Thank you Stephanie for your fabulous 5-star review. I'm so pleased that you were comfortable at The Court and really enjoyed the neighborhood. I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a return visit.
Very private home with formal gardens and spacious open plan living.
We stayed in winter and found the house surprisingly warm and cosy despite its size.
Would love to return in summer to enjoy the close location to the beaches and take advantage of the private outdoor spaces of the house.
Thank you for the fabulous review. When we renovated Th Court 3 years ago we paid particular attention to ensuring that temperature control was on point. Reverse cycle split systems in each room, together with double glazing throughout, ensure that The Court is comfortable all year round. The outdoor seating area is wonderful in summer. It's delightful to sit outside beneath the pagola in the shade with something nice to drink. I'd love to welcome you back to enjoy the experience.
Great space and facilities.
Home away from home
Fabulous entrance through beautiful leafy green paths and into a neat , light filled , comfortable home. Lots of comforts provided , comfy bedrooms and spacious modern bathrooms. Perfectly positioned for beach walks, coffee shops and delicious restaurants as well as the Palais theatre and Luba Park. Close to public transport too. Thankyou
The house was very appealing architecturally. Bathrooms were nicely appointed. Tv had Netflix and other amenities. We enjoyed our private court yard. Nice to lock the car in. We had a little trouble with traffic noise but we are not use to it. It was a great location.
