About this property

This 1600 sq ft three bedroom, two bath house is within walking distance to the Augusta National and centrally located to all the amenities Augusta has to offer. This house is very clean and simple. Non-smokers, no pets and is also located next to legendary Rae's Creek. All real hardwood floors throughout. We have excellent wi-fi and antenna tv but no cable television. We use the Playstation for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other tv. A large back patio with a grill. The neighborhood is established and quiet (most homes built in the 1960s/70s). Nothing else special that you cannot see in the pictures. The most attractive part of our property is the location and the neighborhood.

Hi, my name is Brian. I was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and work as an English Teacher teacher at an area middle school. I live here with my wife Renee, my daughters Naomi and Sybi and my son Billy. School's out for Masters Week so we always rent our house for tournament guests. If you're reading this then you likely have tickets. Lucky you!

Why they chose this property

This property is very CLOSE to the Augusta National. In fact there are only a few rentals closer. We love living here. The neighborhood is great and the neighbors are even better. They are like family to us. The house stays very clean and gets an extra cleaning when I am off during the summers and Christmas break. The house is cleaned in detail in the days prior to the guests arrival. I bought this house in 2009 and have rented it for the full week every year during Masters week. We have had a couple of renters even return for the next year. It's a great way for us to participate in the legendary traditions of the Masters golf tournament.

What makes this property unique

WALK to the Augusta National. There is a sidewalk that goes all the way to the main entry of the Augusta National. We use it to walk to the local Publix grocery store (farther away) once or twice a week as well as observe all the exciting new construction at the Augusta National. We're not members so we can only watch from the outside during the year :) There is also a sidewalk on the opposite end of the Augusta National you can walk to Surrey Center where there are bars, restaurants and shops.
