Was lovely and peaceful. Great family location.
Very easy and great communication from the owners.
Lovely property quiet and picturesque location.
Lovely property has everything you need. Very comfortable four poster beds! Spacious and cozy with a wood fire. We had a great girls weekend!
We arrived in the colder part of the year to attend a function at a winery 20 minutes away rather than risking safety and driving we opted to stay in Healesville to enjoy the local foods and wildlife. We brought our bikes and had a lovely ride into town each day and when the wet weather set in we turned up the fire and cuddled up close. This property has enough room for 3 couples and is clean and cosy for the getaway we all look forward to. With plenty of feathered locals coming to say hello I’m sure this property would be just as lovely in the warmer months with a bbq and double doors that open out to a beautiful decking.
A large and roomy house with the basics provided in the kitchen, and warm, comfortable beds. Parrots in the trees and wallabies in the nearby Maroondah Dam forest.
Short trip away
This house was good setting for our winter escape.
Enjoyed our stay in Forest Edge Sanctuary
The cottage is only 2 minutes drive from busy Healesville, allowing you to enjoy natures sounds and serenity at this secret hideaway.
The Healesville and the Yarra Valley are one of Australia's premier wine growing areas. It is also famous for it's local produce, the Wildlife Sanctuary and the stunning natural scenery. You can go on any number of day trips wine, cheese and chocolate tasting, walk through the stunning forests or just sit back and take it all in from the veranda.
Myers Creek Road is a very popular climb North of Healesville which is popular with recreational riders, which takes you through the beauty of the Yarra Ranges National Park. Hidden at the very top is a 4WD track which is 3.3km’s @ 10%, which will take you to the top of Mount St Leonards, which if added to the Myers Creek Road climb, makes for arguably one of Victoria’s hardest HC climbs.
Only one hours drive from Lake Mountain, makes for a great day out in the snow.
