You may want to turn in your rental car and never go more than five blocks from your slice of Paradise.

This two story, two bedroom condo will provide the clean, carefree experience you expect to find on Maui.

Summer Travelers:

Though this unit has multiple ceiling and floor fans as well as two 12,000 BTU AC window units; one downstairs in the living room and one upstairs in the master bedroom, sometimes, during the summer months of July, August, and September the second bedroom upstairs can become very hot. The condo association rules will not permit a window AC in the second bedroom as it would hang over the common area sidewalk and potentially drip.

                                                          This is one of the nicest places to stay, go to sleep listening to the waves, drink you coffee on the Lanai, listening to the birds. It was wonderful, we really enjoyed ourselves.

                                                          It's a nice place...we were warned about one of the bedrooms upstairs not having air conditioner, but when temps reach 90+ during the day, the room has no chance of cooling down. Heat rises and there was just not an adequate breeze to open windows and try to get it cooled down. On top of that, knowing our arrival time, nobody turned AC on so it would be inhabitable upon our arrival. The couple who were sleeping in bedroom with no AC had to sleep downstairs on sofa and cushions on the floor to stay cool. Also, there was large pieces of furniture blocking the only two air conditioners in the unit! Upon our arrival, we had to rearrange the furniture just to get some cool air flow going. We absolutely enjoyed Maui, but we would stay in another place (with total AC) if it's going to be anywhere above 80 degrees!

                                                          We had a wonderful time at this location. It was a last minute trip and we were excited to get such a great location just seconds from a wonder beach and dinning. It was everything that we needed for our family of four. We are most thankful to the owner for tracking down our lost teddy bear that we left behind and making sure it gets back to our eager seven year old. It was a great trip and expect to be back!

                                                          This was our second year in this complex, and first year in Mary Lou's unit.

                                                          The complex is great. Right across the street from Kam II. A short walk to subway, pizza hut, gelato, and a natural foods grocery store. The complex has security at night which is great.

                                                          The unit is in the best building for us. The parking spot is directly out the door, so no hauling groceries or beach items around (we tride other beach es during our stay). The unit is also right across the parking lot from one of the two pools and bbq areas. The unit also has the most space and separates the sleeping (upstairs) and living area (downstairs ).

                                                          You can hear the ocean from the unit. Although it is right on the road and you do hear traffic, especially in afternoon and night, the unit still has privacy. We shut windows in bedroom at night and didn't hear any traffic.

                                                          The unit has an air conditioner downstairs which can bring the heat down some but we rarely used it. The upstairs bedroom along the road also had an air conditioner that we also rarely used. The second bedroom had an overhead ceiling fan and a floor fan that was plenty to keep it cool. We kept all ceiling fans running and opened windows to allow breeze in during the day.

                                                          The unit had the necessary kitchen items. I always buy a few pans because I like to cook. But the unit had what I have seen in other rentals. There were spare towels and beach towels.

                                                          The unit is updated, but not in all areas. No matter, the unit was clean and very enjoyable to be in.

                                                          Mary Lou was amazing. We had some issues come up during our stay that she responded to and assisted us immediately. We also had a personal issue come up and she helped us without hesitating.

                                                          We loved this unit and look forward to staying again. Thank you Mary Lou.

                                                          The property was well kept and a security guard was visible patrolling the grounds.The area felt safe and was right across the street from from the beach. The traffic noise is present at night with the door open in main bedroom but kinda mixes with the sounds of the ocean. The location and being able to see and hear the ocean from the condo on both floors outways any issues of street noise. Everything thing worked fine and there was lots of beach chairs and stuff, which was nice to have for use at the nearby beaches.

                                                          The only cons: The bathrooms are hot. needs better air circulation. This place has stairs.(upper lanai is great.) So, traveling with disabled (still able to walk some) and elderly individuals, we found that the stairs were really rough on them. So,this condo is great for the able-bodied where stairs aren't an issue. The rest of us were fine and really enjoyed this condo.

                                                          This place has a great pool and barbecue/ outdoor eating area. Nice place for grilling in and hanging out.(Wish it had a hot tub). If you don't want to cook this condo is right near a bunch of restaurants.

                                                          The beach across the street is awesome. My favorite beach snorkel spot early in the morning when it's calm.Good visibility of fish and turtles "for take only pictures, leave only footprints" motto. Seams like a pretty safe beach with a lifeguard, but be careful when the winds and waves pick up. We had a blast.

                                                          I would definitely recommend Mary Lou's place and would stay again. Great host, too. Responded quickly to emails. We miss it so much already.

                                                          Had a great stay at Mary Lou's condo. Neat and clean. Very comfortable. Location was convenient to everything. Mary Lou was great and very accommodating of our needs. Let us extend check out a little so we could squeeze in oNE last snorkel with the turtles at the beach across the street. I have already recommended this to my friends.
