Grey Fox Getaway is one of three, 400 square foot cabins that we call Happy Fox Hollow. It has a covered porch with seating for sipping coffee or cocktails. The bedroom has a door so it can be closed off from the rest of the cabin, furnished with a queen sized bed and clothing storage. It also has stairs that lead up to a low ceiling loft with 2 twin beds that are great for kids and agile adults.***We do not make the twin beds up for parties fewer than 3 unless requested. Please let us know if you want them made up prior to your arrival.******Loft not suitable for toddlers*** There is a bathroom with plenty of fresh towels and a shower/tub combo. The kitchen has full sized appliances including a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and coffee maker. It also has utensils for cooking, cookware and dishes. The living area has a wood burning stove, tv, sofa, and a table and chairs. Parking is located directly in front of the unit. There are three fire pit areas with seating and a pavilion with picnic table. A charcoal grill is provided and shared between cabins. The property backs up to the future Headwaters State Forest and so there are plenty of trees and wildlife.

About Melissa Kilgore
We are Jason and Melissa Kilgore. We met one day back in 2001 and 92 days later, we were married. We are the best of friends and love doing things together, especially traveling and exploring this beautiful world of ours. A good cup of coffee in the morning, fresh air, the sounds of nature, playing outside and enjoying a glass of wine, at the end of the day, these things put smiles on our faces when we are home or traveling. We have traveled to Europe where we did what we call the big 3, Rome, Venice and Paris. We have also traveled to Belize twice, Costa Rica twice and Cozumel twice. We love to scuba dive and so these destinations were repeaters for us. We recently returned from a 6 week camping adventure to visit 12 national parks. We don't sit still when we travel which is probably why we don't call our adventures "vacations." We call them "expeditions." We usually carry a lot of camera gear and scuba gear with us. We love meeting people and making new friends when we travel and host. We believe life is short, there are no guarantees and you should enjoy as much of it as you can, while you can.
Why Melissa Kilgore chose Dunns Rock
We LOVE this area! We love to hike and mountain bike and so it was perfect for us. We used to come here every weekend and now we are lucky enough to live here. Brevard is a town that provides everything we need without being too big. We chose to live away from town to be more in nature but town is only a 15-20 minute drive!
What makes this Cabin unique
The driveway is long and takes you away from the main road which we really love because it makes us feel like we have our own little getaway. We back up to the future Headwaters State Forest so we take comfort in the fact that we will always have few neighbors and plenty of wildlife. We prefer small indoor living spaces and large outdoor spaces!

This tiny home/cabin is great! The space is well thought out with plenty of storage, a full size kitchen and bathroom. It's a surprisingly spacious cabin with modern amenities . We can't wait to visit again.
Quiet and secluded, but close to Brevard. Clean and cozy cabin. We very much enjoyed our stay and will visit again. Thanks Josh & Melissa!
The property is spotless and very well appointed. The attention to detail was obvious.
The cabin was very well done. It has the comforts of home.
Beautiful tiny home style cabin
The cabin was adorable! Everything is organized where it still feels open and spacious. We even had two big dog kennels in there for our pups and it did not feel tight thanks to the high ceilings. Truly great stay.
Tiny but not small...
Our first visit to this tiny house and it won’t be our last! So charming, inside and out! Surprisingly, it’s very roomy inside...with full sized appliances, bath, and bed. The wood stove adds to the charm! An added bonus, the loft...perfect for tagalongs! Very accomadating with us and a date change....
For stargazers, the sky is beautiful at night. Take along some firewood, there is even a fire pit! We loved the fact that there are three tiny homes together, perfect for girlfriend getaways and quick trips with friends!
Really cute place to stay in the mtns
Nice,new and clean.
