Private Charming 3 bedroom 3 bath log cabin with a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain. There is a loft area with a view of Grandfather and a finished basement with a pool table and gaming systems. Flat gravel road/driveway with lots of parking for multiple visitors. We also have wi-fi!
On the main floor you enter into the open living room, dining and kitchen area. The living room has double french doors that open on to the upper deck with great views of Grandfather Mtn to be enjoyed while barbecuing on the gas grill. In the living room there is a large sectional couch, a 56" tv & dvd player and a gas fireplace. The main level bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed and its own 41" tv. Across the hall is a full spacious bathroom with a full sized washer and dryer. The Master bedroom located upstairs has a king bed,40" tv and a dvd/vhs player. The master also has a private spacious full bathroom which includes a jacuzzi tub and an in wall heater.. Also upstairs is an open loft with a wall of windows affording beautifull views of Grandfather Mtn. The loft includes a sleeper sofa(queen) and a pull out twin chair, also a gaming table with a selection of board and card games. In the basement is another large bedroom with a queen and twin bunk beds, 48" tv/dvd. This room has its own private bathroom. The Basement includes a card table, pool table and lounging area with a 61" flat screen tv,dvd player and a PS2 gaming system(including a collection of age appropriate games) and double french doors that open out to a lower deck, here too you can view Grandfather Mtn.
Located steps away from our Cabin are tennis courts and a playground,picnic bench and bbq grill. Hawksnest tubing is minutes down the road. There are 3 ski resorts: 7 miles to Sugar Mountain, 15 miles to Beach Mountain and 16 miles to Appalachian Ski. Banner Elk is 10 minutes away, 15 minutes to Valle Crucis and 30 minutes to Boone and Blowing Rock. Shopping, tennis fishing, hiking, skiing, tubing, or a whole lot of nothing is possible during your stay in Seven Devils.
Please remember the Blue Ridge Mountain weather includes rain, fog, ice and snow. Please be advised that between November and April that the road conditions can be dangerous and unpredictable. While our road and driveway are flat the mountain roads leading to us are windy with a significant inclines and declines. 4 wheel drive and/or chains are often required to access our home. It is your responsibility to be prepared for these hazardous road conditions.
