The design of the Lagoon 440 is based on the latest long-range cruising multi-hull technological developments. Lagoon is the largest builder of cruising catamarans in the world, and the 440 is the most popular cat of its size range. With its raised helm position, the 440 is a fine example of Lagoon’s forward thinking. A benefit of the raised bridge is that the cockpit transforms into a lovely and uncluttered entertainment area. The cockpit is covered by a large hard top bimini and there is a console to port with a wet bar.
Stepping into the saloon and galley, you are surrounded by large windows providing a panoramic view and plenty of natural light. The curved lounge and dining table are to port, and the forward-facing settee is topped by a stainless steel rail. The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and is designed as a professional area where the chef will be able to reveal his talents. A sliding window serves either for fresh air or as a pass-through for food and cocktails into the cockpit.
All three cabins are comfortable with queen sized beds, fans, hanging lockers & plenty of storage space. Each cabin has its own ensuite head with vanity & shower.
SV Soulshine is equipped with top of the line solar panels and a USB charging station in the galley & aft cabins, I-pad with Navplay & Pocketgrib, and blue LED lights over the stern. Enjoy complimentary WiFi while onboard.
In building the 440, Lagoon has managed to combine their technical expertise, sailing experience and their understanding of aesthetics to produce a quiet, efficient, well-made boat with all the necessary amenities for comfortable living.
