Exactly What We Wanted

  • 5 of 5

This was the PERFECT stay for us. The home was kept in immaculate condition and looked exactly like the pictures. No surprises—and to our surprise, we found that this to be the exact kind of place to make a yearly tradition. All nine of us were very happy, and will definitely be coming back. It felt homey, but in the clean and cozy Tahoe-cabin sort of way that's desired. We actually walked around the neighborhood and agree'd that we'd picked the right one.

You feel like you are getting your $$ worth, and that's what matters most for our group.

Speaking of neighborhood . . . Tahoma is actually a really convenient location if you want to see more than one spot. Halfway between Emerald bay and Tahoe City, you have the best of both worlds a short drive away (sounding like an informercial here, can't help it).

Plenty of towels/sheet/soaps/dishes (for entertaining too). The owner knows their stuff and what people need for a vacation. You can tell they have a passion for their property, and it shows.

We enjoyed our nights in the jacuzzi. The lot is secluded and private. Access to the garage made us feel safe leaving our cars alone and not needing to empty everything out upon trips back and forth to the lake/town. 10min walk in the crisp morning to the small Tahoma town for coffee was a highlight.

We had an amazing time, creating a Hawaiian Luau BBQ for our group; the deck here is PERFECT for spending time together and entertaining (even for really random themed events).

Anyway, could go on and on. Thank you! See you next year!

Owner's Response: Hello Colton, It was a pleasure having you and yours as guests! In a hectic summer with lots of rentals it's also good to hear that the housekeeping is staying on their A-Game. We tend to only tell them when things are bad so, I'll be sure to pass this review on specifically to them because a pat on the back is something any of us would appreciate. We are now accepting reservations for summer 2018. Happy to offer you a return guest discount of course. Give me a call! -Stephanie
