About Wendy Aylesworth
I'm a true Calgarian from way back when Bowness, where I was born, was a small town and Calgary was a 2nd tram fare away. Over the years Calgary grew and my home town was swallowed up by the big city. Today, still remaining in the NW area to which I was born, I've settled in the lovely community of Hawkwood five minutes north of Bowness and so named for the original ranching Hawkwood family. I'm a realtor for over 20 years and live with my doggy Zofi.
Wendy Aylesworth purchased this House in 1996
Why Wendy Aylesworth chose Hawkwood
My home is a raised bungalow and the lower suite has large south facing windows which make it very bright. I've recently renovated and freshened the suite and I'm pleased to invite you to be my guest. I hope you'll appreciate the kitchen island and builtin dishwasher. The Livingroom has a large Smart TV and is PVR equipped. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other a double bed. You'll enjoy a private entrance, patio and yard with off street parking in my quiet neighborhood.
What makes this House unique
You can travel on foot to the shopping centre or the LRT. If you're here for business downtown, or schooling at the U of C or SAIT the train goes right to their door in minutes. My home is conveniently situated across from a YMCA facility with an ice arena attached, and next to a large Library. Crowfoot Centre Shopping is 2 blocks away with theatres and restaurants, banking and cleaners. Grocery stores and Vet & Medical Clinics are right there as well. The LRT train is 5 blocks from my home and the TransCanada Hwy to Banff National Park is so very close, as is Canada Olympic Park with all its sports facilities. The beautiful Bowness Park and Baker Park stretching along the Bow River are minutes away with lovely trails to walk, paths to bicycle or boats to row.
