Only about 20-30 minutes from rafting the Ocoee. Close grocery store. Kitchen is well stocked. Owner communicates well!

Perry Stone Partners Conference

This is a great property to rent. It looks exactly like the pictures on the HomeAway site which we have found to not always be accurate. My wife and I went with another couple and had plenty of room. They liked the upstairs bed mattress so well they bought one! The property was clean and well maintained. The only thing we needed was our personal items just as if you were staying in a hotel. It was comfortable and had everything we needed in the kitchen, although we did not do a lot of cooking so I cannot attest to the cookware.

I used Google Earth to locate the property and look at it from ground view. I found that to be very helpful as the property is surrounded by landscaping on a small lot. You might miss it if you are not familiar with its look. It might be easier for some people to come in from the Paul Huff exit on I-75. Careful of the speed bumps at Cleveland State Community College.

The only drawback is the noise from the interstate. It really did not interfere with our conversations or sleep, however, we live in the country at home and the noise was noticeable.

The property is really convenient to everything in the area, stores, gas stations, restaurants, and for us, the Omega Conference Center.

Mr. Smith was a great property owner and had refunded our security deposit before we had returned home to North Carolina.

I will be staying here again when returning to Cleveland!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for myself, my husband, our 2 kids, and my father who is in a wheelchair. We will definitely be renting again. Thanks, Mr. James!!

We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at this townhome in Cleveland, TN. We stayed on Friday-Monday nights in late October with a 1yo and 2 adults. It was much more comfortable than a hotel room and less expensive too. We were more relaxed and less stressed, and though this was our 1st attempt at staying in a vacation home, we'll be searching for a place like this anywhere we go in the future.

A couple of things of note:

-We never met the owner face-to-face, but he's very responsive to emails and texts. We had a problem with the bathroom lights not coming on Friday night, and though he offered to come out, we found that resetting the GFI outlet in the main floor bathroom fixed it. We did have the same problem on Monday, but I'm sure he'll take a look at it now that we've left.

-Google maps and GPS does not accurately locate the house number on Adkisson Dr. Luckily, there is an outside picture of the townhome and I had used Street View on Google to find the location beforehand. The house number is also only listed on the mailbox out front. We arrived as the sun was setting, but at night time it would be very difficult to find. Maybe adding the house number on the building would help?

-GPS will have you get off I-75 at Georgetown Rd. If you're not used to winding, mountain roads, we'd suggest getting off at Paul Huff to the north. The road from Georgetown up to Adkisson is narrow and hilly and we found Paul Huff just much easier. Watch out for the speed bumps near CSCC though!

-Pots, pans, and dishes are provided. A dishwasher is also provided, however, not all the dishes are dishwasher safe (silver lined ones). Also the skillet, which is NOT non-stick, will make an awful mess if you don't use nonstick spray. We tried butter which didn't work, and finally bought a can because there was none in the cabinet, and left it there for the next person. I did not see a sponge provided to wash dishes, but had brought my own. Also, there was very little dish soap available, but I had brought my own as well. Laundry soap is not provided, but hand soap is. We ordered groceries at Food City online and picked up curbside which was SO helpful after a long drive!

-There is highway noise, which you can hear sometimes during the day and close to night time. I found it negligible in the middle of the night. It didn't bother us either way and we all slept wonderfully.

-We had neighbors next to us but didn't hear or see them mostly. Don't know if they heard our toddler!

Thanks!
