It's all about location!! Located right in town, walk everywhere!
We love the weather, the private patio for dining al fresco and the location of only a 5 block stroll to the plaza!
I spent a wonderful, relaxing month at this rental. It is located perfectly in a cute neighborhood of bungalows with lovely gardens. Very walkable. The apartment is roomy with doors that open out onto a large front porch and a nice eat-on patio. Rosemary and Alan are friendly and generous hosts but not intrusive in any way. This was the first time I had done a monthly rental and it worked out great. You can't go wrong with this one.
Our month stay was wonderful! We enjoy the great location and the cleanliness and how well equipped the place is for our needs. Also, the Owners are very responsive if anything needed.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 month stay in this wonderful updated and modern Victorian. The location is perfect as it is in a beautiful, safe, and quiet neighborhood and walking distance to the Sonoma Plaza, which has a plethora of excellent restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The Victorian is also biking distance to several hiking/running trails such as Montini Preserve and Bartholomew Park. The amenities included were everything you could ask for such as a washer/dryer, dishwasher, wood burning stove, heated pool & Jacuzzi and a private outdoor patio for dining. Rosemary and Alan were so helpful and delightful. They were available to assist w/ anything as well as giving us great recommendations for things to do in the area. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful location in order to enjoy all that Sonoma has to offer.
ROSEMARY & ALAN WERE GREAT, ANYTHING THAT CAME UP THEY RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AND OUR 6 WEEK STAY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE ENJOYABLE!
Wonderful 2 month visit August and September 2014. Fantastic apartment layout inside and outside. Rosemary and Alan are the best hosts; friendly, super helpful for all aspects of visit and touring the area. Great for cooking in and eating on the private arbor covered patio. Gas BBQ grill, gas stove and dishwasher in kitchen. Comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom configuration with washer dryer and access out to pool. Use of great pool and very private back yard. Apt. is clean and neat, walk to downtown and Sonoma Plaza. Don’t miss Tuesday night farmers market – live like a local.
After spending a lovely month here in the fall of 2013, we can’t say enough good things about both this charming cottage and the Sonoma community. The cottage was bright, immaculately clean and fully furnished, complete with washer and dryer. Though lacking state-of-the-art TV or gourmet cookware, it included fast wi-fi, a most comfortable bed, luxurious towels, an abundant shower, sunny, quiet patios and a pool. We’ll stay here again at the first opportunity. Likewise the community was endlessly fascinating, whether walking five blocks (or 25 minutes through the Sebastiani vineyard) to Peet’s coffee near the square, or exploring the town’s markets and shops, or driving north through the wineries (especially on Crush Festival weekend!) or westward to the Pacific. The Larkspur ferry to the City is 30 minutes away, the stunning Weill concert hall at Sonoma State is closer still, and Napa (if you must) a short drive. For years we’ve rented for a month all over Europe, Mexico and California. This is the first place where we’re tempted to settle. Thanks to our gracious hosts for making it so exceedingly enjoyable.
St. Francis Solano Mission, the last of California's 21 missions, and it's surrounding adobe buildings are worthy of a visit. Located next to the Plaza. Check with the Visitor's Center at the Plaza for numerous weekly activities and adventures awaiting you.
