About Luisa

In my twenties I was a flight attendant and developed a love for travel. It brings me great joy to meet folks from all over the world and all over the US.

Since leaving the airlines I have worked as a caseworker for children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned. It is my life's mission to fix systemic issues to ensure a healthy and safe community.

My sister, in my profile photo, is having a baby so I will be visiting with her quite a bit throughout the year. My partner Geoff, and my parents will assist with my guests if I am out of town.

Luisa purchased this townhome in 2016

Why Luisa chose South Tabor

My rental is centrally located and an easy drive to downtown and the airport.

The number 9 bus goes directly to the OHSU Campus on the South Waterfront, and further into downtown.

What makes this townhome unique

Mt Tabor is lovely and includes accessible picnic area, accessible restroom, basketball court, horseshoe pit, paths – paved, paths – unpaved, picnic shelter, picnic site – reservable, picnic tables, stage – outdoor, lighted tennis court, volleyball court, and grassy green areas to just lay out under a shade tree.

Great Stay. Just what we needed in Portland. Nice safe area with good food and shopping close.

We stayed for eight days while we visted our our son. We found the place ready and clean. Luisa was good to work with and easy to contact. Found the electric door lock easy to use and a lot more handy that keeping track of a key. Parking worked well.

Only suggestion would be to add a few more pots and pans in the kitchen for those who want to do more cooking.

Quiet neighborhood! Newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom.

Improvement suggestions would be to clean the loveseat and carpets. There was a bed mattress on the floor and a pictureon the floor....could have been fixed and had much more appeal. My husband had to fix the bedslats in the other bedroom before falling through.

Amazing! Great value in the heart of Portland!

  • 5 of 5

Luisa's place is great! We stayed there early August 2018 and the house was fantastic. It was a great price, was well stocked, felt homey, and was fortunately air conditioned as we arrived in what was apparently Portland's big heatwave of the year (I'm from Texas so no A/C in homes is a crazy concept). The bed was very cozy, the kitchen was very updated and modern, and the house was in a great location. Close to everything, safe area, right by Division street, and about 10-15 minutes from both the airport and downtown Portland. I also felt the value was great price wise for how nice a place it is and for where it is in Portland, especially compared to other places we looked at. Thanks Luisa, we will be back!

Appreciated that it was spacious inside with dedicated parking space

Condo met our needs nicely with everything we needed for comfort, being away from home for the week. Luisa quickly responded to all our communications to her regarding any problems we encountered. She was friendly and concerned about our needs being met during our stay. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Very Nice

  • 4 of 5

Stayed here 3 nights in June, and glad the AC units worked so well. I appreciated the super comfy queen bed in the upstairs main bedroom, and my adult daughter said the inflatable in the small (also upstairs) bedroom was surprisingly comfy as well. Unit was very clean, felt safe, and was set back enough from street so that noise was not an issue. Well supplied with paper goods, laundry and dish cleaning products, and minor pantry items. Only suggested ways to improve: beef up the lighting (we kept blinds drawn for privacy) and add a small chest of drawers for the small bedroom. I had no occasion to contact Luisa, as everything was in order and as advertised. Be aware that there are not many options for walking to restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. My deposit was promptly returned the week after my stay.

I’ll likely stay here again, and overall I was more than satisfied. Four and a half stars!

Clean, simple, and quiet.

  • 4 of 5

Clean apartment with all necessities. Loved that there was parking and an A/C in both the living room and the bedroom. Although we didn’t watch much television, the antenna signal was a little poor when we did. Luisa was very communicative and helpful.
