Community Pool and Bar-b q grill.. Across the street is a splash pad for kids. Short distance to grocery store and fish market. Neil's restaurant for some home cooking even closer. Conveniences are abundant.

The property was nicely decorated, great living area for kids to chill out.
A little on the disappointed side...
The condo was very nicely decorated but we ran into several issues during our stay. Several slats were broken on the master bed when we arrived. We contacted the owner about it but it wasn’t fixed forcing us to sleep in the much smaller room & giving the 5 year old the broken master bed. Articles from previous tenants were found: some earrings and a toothpick on seperate nightstands and a ponytail holder on the bathroom floor. There was an overwhelming smell of bleach or cleaner when we arrived. The owner asked us to park on the side of the building and we assume someone tried to break into my SUV as the passenger door handle was completely broken on the first night. There is also no lighting in the parking area where residents park. The description states that it’s a short walk to the beach but it’s definitely a car drive away- upper part of a mile or so. Whoever owns the condo has impeccable taste but they definitely need to check into their cleaning & maintenance staff. We were so over it we left the night before we were due to check out and drove through the night to arrive home around 2:30 AM. We will definitely be back to Bay St. Louis as we LOVED the town but will be more selective about where we are staying with our small children.
Yes, there were bed slats there found to be broken on one of the beds. We were unaware of this until we were notified by the tenant. We made attempts to have the slats replaced, but was unsuccessful while the tenant was there. They have been replaced.
Yes there were a pair of ear rings and a tooth pic that was left on one of the night stands that the cleaners had picked up and placed there, but forgot to properly disposition these items.
Do not know about the pony tail holder until this review. Talked with the cleaners, they were unaware of this item, but were aware of the ear rings and tooth pic. Regardless, the cleaners are very apologetic and promised they will do better and I will see to it.
Do not know about the bleach smell. Our cleaners do not use bleach or bleach products.
I was very sorry to here about the car handle. We have never had this problem before. There are not one but three street lights across the street from this parking area and no place to hide. We were not presented with a police report. Never-the-less, this incident was reported to the condo association.
As far as the tenant's claim that the description in VRBO states that; "its a short walk to the beach". This is not what the description says. It states that the property is; '... not in the middle of everything, but is close enough for a bike or golf cart ride to the beach ...".
We are sorry that this tenant did not have the experience they were looking for. We do our very best to see that things are appropriate for our tenants to have the best experience possible.

Very comfortable condo.
The property manager (Joey Manieri) is great! The place was spotless and very well stocked with soaps, towels and everything the condo needs. He greeted us and made sure all questions were answered and welcomed us.
We’ll certainly look for any properties he manages for future stays.

This was our second month long stay here and it did not disappoint. The air conditioner went out for a few days, but Joey was very responsive and it was repaired in a timely way. So much to love about BSL. We enjoyed walking all over town (safe and lovely neighborhoods and beautiful beach), trying all the eateries, and visiting other nearby coastal towns. See you next time!
