Perfect lake family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. The cottage was very clean and recently updated. The owner has gone above and beyond to stock the cottage with everything you need! Only tiny negative

was no dishwasher but that can easily be solved with paper products which the owner had plenty (we had already brought own own). Boat dock is awesome and the water is clear and deep!!! We loved using the two kayaks and knee board. The cove is very peaceful and only a few minutes to the big water. There are 2 marinas within a 15 minute boat ride to rent boats. Cottage also has a great fire pit and huge deck with a gas grill! I would highly recommend!!!

Great place to get away!

  • 4 of 5

It was a great place for our family to gather for our daughter's graduation from Clemson. Figuring cost of hotels and eating out, this saved us money and also gave us a place to kick back and connect. Not knowing the area, we got around fairly easy. We caught a little bad weather but...that is life!

The owner made it special with a little touch putting out a "congrats" sign for our graduate and a bottle of bubbly!

Thanks again!

Great Time on Hartwell

  • 5 of 5

Made some memories on the lake with friends and family. Cozy house for the 2 families to meet up at. Kids loved the docks and Kayaks, having the boat in the backyard was a plus. Early morning coffee sitting on the dock was peaceful until the kids you brought find you. Ha! Owners were sweet and let us hang out in yard to hunt Easter eggs.

Thanks again,

Tim
