About Lynda Rerych

I am self employed and like to travel. Having the two vacation rentals gives me that opportunity and the chance to meet people from all over the country. I love the NC Mountains and have lived here since 1985. I grew up in the Orlando area and, after I moved here, I never looked back. Hiking and exploring are big interests of mine as are gardening and cooking.

Lynda Rerych purchased this cabin in 2016

Why Lynda Rerych chose Arden

This property is quaint, cute, and compact. It offers all the basic necessities and gives you an affordable, comfortable home base from which to go and come. It is in a wonderful location that is close to everything in WNC. Although it could be considered a "tiny house" because it is only 12 x 20, you have all the luxuries of a larger accommodation.

What makes this cabin unique

The owners of this property before me owned a landscaping nursery and filled the yard with some unusual specimens of plants. Sitting in the front, cooking smores over the firepit or having a glass of wine (or beer), you feel quite removed from the hubbub of the nearby communities.

Sweetest little cabin

  • 5 of 5

I visited on January 5th with my boyfriend and my dog and we couldn't have had a more wonderful time. This cabin is perfectly sized for 2, a cheap uber ride to downtown Asheville, and has everything you could need in it. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful holiday getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend, pup, and I stayed in the cabin for a few nights during new years, and were pleasantly surprised with our stay. It was the perfect size and had all the things we needed for the time we were there. There are several other houses on the property, but there are plenty of trees that make it feel private. It was very quiet and relaxing, and we couldn't have asked for more!

A great Christmas in the Little Cabin in the Woods!

Cute, clean and convenient. Tiny living close to Asheville. Seems like you're off the grid but in fact you're mere seconds from the main road.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The loft bedroom is height challenged so don't expect to stand up but the bed was very comfortable and we slept like stones.

Perfect getaway for a couple.

Close enough to everything

Very nice host although I did not get the chance to meet her in person as we stayed Thanksgiving weekend.

The cabin was very cute and cozy, perfect for us and our two dogs.

Perfect for solo or couple! Loved it.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a secluded home-base for our short trip to Asheville and we were not disappointed! Perfect size for the two of us and our two dogs. We didn't spend much time there, just a place to crash. Smart TV, so we could watch a little Netflix before bed. Check-in and check-out extremely easy. The bed is lofted, which makes room for more living space. The steps to get up to the bed are VERY steep so if you've got limited mobility or joint issues I would not recommend. Otherwise it's a great way to burn off some beers 😀? We're saving this place and will probably return.

It was a cute and clean little house. It wasn’t as secluded as I thought it would be. The cabin is on property that is between a house and a doublewide trailer.
