About Vacasa, CO - Summit County Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Spacious, nice view, quiet location

 • 3 of 5

Very spacious and quiet. Near a few bars and restaurants. Private hot tub with nice view and sauna. Hot tub did need to be cleaned and was after we requested..but should have been upon arrival. Balcony was nice, spacious kitchen but could use a few more cooking utensils/pots..

Plenty of room for a large family. Overall not a bad value close to slopes

You are required to clean and do laundry in all towels and bedding so make sure you make time, the washer is small!

Owner's Response: We do ask that our guests wash their own dishes and start a load of laundry if they have time, but we do charge a cleaning fee to cover the cost of housekeeping to come in and clean after each reservation. Thank you!

Cinnamon Ridge

 • 3 of 5

This was our first time in Keystone and wanted to be located within walking distance of ski school for the kids. It is about a ten minute walk to the mountain house school.
The Negatives:
We ultimately chose this property because of the private hot tub amenity, however, the hot tub was pretty nasty and needed to be cleaned. Once we let the property manager know, he quickly took care of it.
There were other things we found on our arrival;burnt light bulbs, broken blow dryer, loose door knobs, no parking pass, lack of cooking utensils, and goose feather bedding/ cushions, but the manager addressed all these things for us.
The biggest negative was the amount of time needed to wash the towels and bedding with the small washing machine. It took us a few hours the night before and also the day we left to get that taken care of. I didn't realize that we needed to do that upon booking and assumed cleaning was included in the stay. They also asked that you vacuum all floors and clean all bathrooms but there is no vacuum cleaner.
The Positive:
The manager, Ryan, was exceptional in his response to quickly make right what was wrong. Although we were not satisfied our first night and morning, he made everything right after we let him know.
The property was large and spacious. It had plenty of bedding to accommodate our family. Once the hot tub was cleaned we used it almost daily. The sauna was also a plus. The kitchen was spacious but could use a few more utensils for cooking.
There was plenty of room for storage and the balcony offered a nice view.
At night it was quiet, with no road noise. The unit was on the bottom floor and we never had a problem hearing any noise from neighbors or passerbys.
Owner's Response: We apologize for the many issues this guest encountered and greatly appreciate that they took the time to inform us and allow us to assist them during their stay. We are unsure of where the guest received the information regarding check-out cleaning as we certainly do not ask that of our guests. We do ask that guests be responsible for their own dirty dishes and, if they have the time, to start a load of linens before departing. Thanks!

Mostly Bad...and a little good

 • 2 of 5

Pros: large living space, nice service guy, good location, furniture comfortable (but outdated)

Cons: Heater in the main room was broken (took 2 days, texts, emails, and voice messages until a new one was brought over); fireplace had no wood (took 2 days, texts, emails, and voice message until some was delivered ~ more delivered 2 days later) combined with the heater not working made the kitchen ~55 degrees and the great room ~ mid-60's; hot tub was filthy with noticeable dirt and sand (when notified, PM said place had been inspected by HOA...); light bulbs in main closet and over dining room table were burned out; because of hot tub being in the condo, place constantly smell of chlorine; garbage bags that were provided were flimsy did not fit garbage cans; because of issues, we were told we would receive a partial refund ~ none delivered (even after follow-up email & text); walk to slopes was further than thought; 1 hair dryer provided (ok as we were only 3, would be a problem for 10); overall dirty - single sock left by former resident found near washer, dryer over spilling with lint, grains of sand in both showers; cheap knives, not suitable for cutting steak, burned oven trays.

Overall the place was big enough for the 3 of us, but I would not want to stay here with more than 4 people. Had we realized the chlorine smell was so prevalent, we would never have chosen this place. Lack of heating made the condo quite cold and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I think most of the problems stemmed from the management of the property and the lack cleanliness, and poor follow through. The owner could definitely put some $ into updating the facility and kitchen utensils.

Beautiful condo

 • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay here. The condo is absolutely beautiful and it truly felt like home. I loved having the hot tub/sauna right in the condo with us. I also loved that it had a washer and dryer so all my laundry was clean when i got home. AND the double shower in the master bath is amazing. We truly loved it. Definitely would recommend this property to others! The deck was large and had amazing views of not only the mountains but also a creek.
