This waterfront cabin was originally a fishing shack built in the 1950s. We've retained the 180-degree views of the bay and cedar shingled-exterior. We restored the interior to reflect the cabin's mid-century roots and create two cozy bedrooms. Vintage furnishings, salvaged redwood details, exposed beams, a subway-tiled shower, and an antique Wedgwood stove create a cozy, light-filled space.
A horse trough tub on the deck is best for bathing dogs and soaking feet. A beachside BBQ and fire pit create an outdoor living space that you may not ever leave (extended stays available upon desperate request).
You may have noticed $20 Resort fee. At Humboldt Bay Social Club, we love letting our local products and makers shine. You'll see locally sourced reclaimed materials and vintage furniture throughout the buildings and local beers on tap. When you book a room at the Social Club, we include a sampler package of some of our favorite Humboldt Bay products, and you also have beach access at Oyster Beach, access to all the BBQs & Firepits, the Boche Ball, and Corn Hole Courts and the Bath House.
Any 30 day booking will be charged double the cleaning fee. If it is not automatically added in your booking, we will add the charge for you. We do this because we come in mid-stay and change your linens and do some light cleaning!
