Beautiful house and Views.

  • 5 of 5

When leaving Ireland, the check bags women at the airport asked what I liked best about Ireland? I said the people, and that started with Mary from start to finish she fulfilled all my family needs and was so pleasant throughout our Holiday. The house is perfectly situated with views, and touring Ireland's West Coast, it was clean and very comfortable .There is a very great bakery at the corner of Mary's house that we ate breakfast quite often, their food and staff was fantastic, they even make a great pizza from 6 to 9 pm. There are a few pubs across the street that will give you a nice feel of local village pub, with some food and pints! Mary, Thank you from my family our trip to Ireland could not have been better , Maria and Joe

Perfect comfort, affordability, and location!

  • 5 of 5

We had the perfect Clare holiday thanks in part to Mary's comfortable house (not to mention some incredible weather). We are a family of 4 (two teens) and my 79 year old father. The bedroom configuration was perfect for us. We were able to give my dad the master bedroom with its private bath, while my kids took the room with the two beds. They really enjoyed having their own patio door in order to visit the pigs, birds, and neighborhood cats. We even saw a wild fox one morning in the field to the side! The kitchen is well appointed and the living spaces are cozy with fabulous view since they are on the second floor.

The house is very close to several lively pubs, but even on a weekend it was all quiet since the house is at the end of the cul de sac. There is a bakery only a few houses down (opening hours were unpredictable, but that may be because we were still early in the season.) We enjoyed a hearty breakfast every morning at The Cliffs of Moher Hotel just a 2 minute walk down the road. The staff there were very welcoming and friendly.

The house location is perfect for exploring all Co. Clare, Galway and Limerick has to offer. Within 30 minutes to an hours drive there is so much to see! We enjoyed The Burren, The Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, Limerick, Kinvara, Doolin, Ailwee Caves and more. We even journeyed to Tralee for a day in Co. Kerry to visit locations that my dad had researched our family origins back to the 1600s.

Thank you, Mary for being so lovely and helpful. We definitely hope to return one day. My kids said the highlight of the trip was staying in your house! (in past trips, we have stayed in B&Bs) It was so nice to unpack and have a relaxing place to gather in the evenings. We found it also more cost efficient than paying for B&B accommodation. I would highly recommend Mary's house to families who want comfort, affordability, and a great location!

Superb location and lovely house

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely holiday in Clare. Mary's house is an upside down house with the 3 bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs. We were very pleased with the house. It's clean and had plenty of space for our family of 5. Good pubs and food across the street. Our kids loved the pigs in the field out the back. Mary was a gem and helped me with details for the local doctor and followed us out the road to Lahinch when we left a hoodie behind us. Highly recommend Clare for a family holiday.

Clean, convenient and comfortable for six people of varying ages

  • 5 of 5

This house is in a terrific location right off the Wild Atlantic Way. Walk to a wonderful bakery, a bar and a pub which becomes an award winning restaurant at night, Very close to the cliffs of Moher and other tourist attractions in the area. We'd stay here again for sure. Mary is a wonderful owner!

Wonderful location, nice home with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

The location of this house is ideal- views are amazing, it is the end unit on a quite, tiny street with ocean views and farmlands beyond the back patio. Mary has taken such care with how the patio was designed. It is very pretty with the stonework and was the perfect, peaceful location to hang out. Across the street there are several places to eat or grab a drink. After exploring the two neighboring towns in either direction, we determined that Liscannor was the perfect in-between spot. It allowed us to access towns/cliffs in minutes yet was away from the crowds and traffic that was in each of these towns. Mary was a pleasure to rent from- available to answer questions and very nice. This house has everything you need for a perfect vacation!
