Hello & welcome to our cozy little home in downtown Idaho Falls! Fully updated, this 1922 house is perfect for any type of getaway; be it one night or several. Bookings have been coming in fast. Email me now to guarantee your reservation!
Our 1922 house is fully updated to meet all your traveling needs. At 1800 square feet, it has three bedrooms, 2 baths(one with a shower, one with a tub), an amateur chef's kitchen, a family room( with television) and dining room. Also, we have a beautiful backyard complete with a deck, grill(available for use), and small couches.
The only disclosures I would like to put in is that we are currently updating small things(re-texturing walls, fixing some trim), so there may be a few things unfinished but I promise you that I will have it in a hospitable condition and you really won't be disappointed. The second is we only have an air conditioning unit in the master bedroom. Seeing as we live pretty enclosed with trees, our house does stay cool and we will provide fans for the rest of the house.
We also allow dogs, just please let me know so that I can make proper arrangements for that fury member of the family:)
We also have complimentary sparkling and still water in the fridge upon arrival as we want to make your stay here as comfortable as possible!
You will have access to the whole house. However the garage you will NOT have access to. We do have street parking and a car port next to the garage that you will have access to.
Interaction with Guests
I'm available through phone, in person, text and email. Whatever works for you and I at the time.
I don't mean to brag, but our neighborhood is the best! We have very sweet neighbors and lots of friendly people and doggies walking on our front sidewalk. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
We live pretty close to downtown Idaho Falls, so walking is an option. My recommendation is to use the map app ( or any other according map app) to map out walking versus an Uber or taxi.
Other Things to Note
We live so close the Grand Teton National forest and it would be a shame if you didn't see the Grand Tetons in person. Also equally enjoyable is a trip to Yellowstone National Park, located just a couple hours away. My husband and I both grew up here and will do our best to give you any information on these wondrous places.
As for the house, we do live on a slightly busy street so if you have dogs or small children, please watch them carefully. We do have a fenced back yard, just be sure that the gates are latched to ensure safety.
