Mountain Getaway in a perfect spot

Bedrooms 3
Space 2,350 sq ft
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Spacious End Unit Townhome in an Ideal Location

This bright yet cozy end unit townhome is less than a 10 minute walk to Whole Foods, Summit Stage transfer station, Starbucks, Safeway, and a local park with a stocked fishing lake. For more fishing, boating and fun, Frisco Bay Marina and Lake Dillon are a mile away. Shopping, dining and sight-seeing in Downtown Frisco are just down the bike path from the property. This is the perfect hub for your mountain vacation during any season.

The fully stocked kitchen and dining room are on the main level with sliding glass doors leading to the deck over-looking the peaceful Aspen-filled yard. If you like to BBQ, we have a charcoal grill on the back deck. The kitchen opens to the living room where you can sit by the fireplace, watch a movie or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The main floor also has a full bath and large capacity washer and dryer.

Wind up the stairs to the three bedrooms and two full baths where the master bedroom with an attached bath has a queen bed. It is full of light and overlooks the back yard and has mountain views.  The next bedroom has vaulted ceilings, also overlooks the Aspens and has a feather soft king sized bed.  The third bedroom has large windows with vaulted ceilings, mountain views and a bunk bed.

The newly finished basement can be a game room, with a table for 4 and a wet bar. It is also a movie room for snuggling up on the pull-out sleeper couch or oversized armchair. While we are not calling this a "bedroom" because it is an open room, it has a really comfortable full-sized bunk bed which could sleep even more guests.

Having an end unit townhome means lots of windows for views and light, plus... you only share one wall with a neighbor!

About Tommy Holley

Our names are Tommy and Rebecca Holley. Tommy has lived in Frisco, Keystone, Breckenridge, Silverthorne and Leadville, and Frisco is by far our favorite. It has that small town charm yet it has all the modern conveniences and is next door to 4 amazing ski areas. Rebecca has spent summers in Aspen and now we live in Boulder. We have 2 young sons, and enjoy sharing the outdoors of Summit County with them. Aside from the ever-popular skiing and boating, our favorite activities are fishing at our neighborhood fishing lake and nearby river, playing at the Meadow Creek playground, and walking on the path to Downtown Frisco for ice cream or to check the festivals that are often happening there. This is truly our "home away from home".

Why Tommy Holley chose Frisco

For us, this house represents the best of what Summit County has to offer. We can get here quickly on I-70, swing by Whole Foods to stock up on necessities, then be at the house in minutes. This neighborhood is extremely desirable because of its convenience and beauty. We are moments away from tons of shopping, hiking and activities, yet the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Easy access to the Summit Stage bus system is also a big plus. It allows us to get almost anywhere in Summit County, and to the ski resorts without paying exorbitant parking fees.

Great experience, great property.

  • 5 of 5

Close friends and I spent almost the entire month of February in the house and had a wonderful time. It’s well decorated, comfortable, has plenty of room with three separate floors, and lots of beds. It’s conveniently located and only a short walk to the Safeway and many restaurants and other services close by. We even walked into Frisco a few evenings for dinner; a little longer walk, but an absolutely charming stroll through the neighborhood. Tommy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and responded immediately to our “self-imposed” issues: embarrassingly, we locked ourselves out once, and even more embarrassingly, mistakenly stayed an additional night. Despite our gaffes, he was very accommodating. This was a bucket list, month-long, trip for me and my retired friends. And the house added to a great experience.

We really enjoyed our stay!

  • 5 of 5

The condo is in a great location within minutes from downtown Frisco but also near Whole Foods and other shops. Its proximity to the Highway allows you to get to Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Dillon, Copper and Silverthorne very easily. The place was very neat, well decorated, and fully equipped with amenities for a rainy day. Its size allowed our group of 9 to stay comfortably without stepping into each others toes. Everything was clearly labeled with handy instructions to get all the amenities to work easily. Great place, I truly recommend it.

Amazing Home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a weekend during August with some friends and we loved the place. It is a really big home with plenty of room for the 9 of us. The place was very well equipped to keep you entertained on a rainy day, it was cozy and very well located, within a few minutes you can be downtown Frisco or shopping at Whole Foods, Safeway and other places. Its close proximity to the Highway and the Town of Breckenridge gives you really easy access to multiple ski resorts, hiking, biking or whatever activity you would like to do.

Great place, and great location!

  • 5 of 5

The condo is fantastic, sleeping our group of six adults and three kids easily. The layout, decor, and accommodations are all very nice. We loved the aspens just off the deck. The location is great; it's near shops and restaurants, close enough to Main Street, and easy access to get anywhere in the area. There's a pretty stream flowing through open space just across the street (made for a nice, quick walk to dinner and Whole Foods).

We absolutely love this place and will try to book it every time we head up to Summit County, Copper Mountain, and even Vail.

This location has the best of all worlds. It is moments from Whole Foods, Wal-Mart and Safeway for groceries. There is also a bike path from the property to a fishing lake, river, playgrounds and parks. Bustling Downtown Frisco is also a short jaunt along the bike path, where you will find wonderful shops, restaurants, coffee shops, historical museum, and fun festivals year-round. At the hub of multiple world-class ski resorts, you have more options than you could ever need during ski season, and for boating and playing in the summer, Lake Dillon and the Frisco Marina.
