Amazing property

The group of 8 friends stayed in this house 2nd year in a row. The property is amazing. The house is specious and comfortable, although it was 8 of us as I mentioned before, the place never felt crowded. Bedrooms are large, bedding is comfortable, sheets are soft and pillows are dreamy. The place is well equipped with everything you can possibly need. Starting form shampoos and soaps in all the bathrooms and seems like endless towel supply. Kitchen has all sorts of dishes, glasses and well stock pantry with spices, oil etc. The house is made for entertainment. Large pool deck overlooking both Skaha and Okanagan lakes and views are breathtaking, whether you having an evening cocktail or practice morning yoga by the pool, you feel at peace looking down from the top of the hill. Lots to do in the vicinity as well, Naramata bench wineries, Okanagan falls testing rooms, swimming in the lake or just bumming at this amazing house. The hot tub is a nice touch for star gazing and recharge. Overall great property, well maintained, definitely luxury and hope to come back again next year.

Amazing house and views!

Stayed here on a guys trip for 4 nights and had a great experience! It has to be one of, if not the nicest, house in Penticton. The views are amazing from the pool deck and house and the yard was great for playing bocce too. The house has a very private feel to it as there is nothing in front of it and it is much higher up the hill than any house in the area. It is conveniently close to grocery and liquor stores as well as several wineries within a 15 minute drive. It is expensive but worth it for a big group when costs can be shared. Good overall experience dealing with Melissa as well as she answered questions very quickly etc. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and plan on doing so.

A trip to remember!

We rented this property for family while they were in town for our wedding and they were absolutely blown away! The house suits a large group perfectly and the views are gorgeous. Melissa was so helpful with all our questions. The whole family truely felt at home. This place really showcases the best of penticton! Thank you!

Nice home&locatn;Many deficiencies&Poor Service;Poor value(xtra fees not listed-long w/e,xtra ppl)

Our grp has rented high-end homes in the Okan. for>10yrs.Disappointed!

PROS

-Best view in Penticton:views of Skaha&Okan.Lake

-Enjoyed pool,hot tub&outdoor spce

CONS

-Poor value compared to other high-end homes(xtra fees for>12ppl incl infants&toddlers, long w/e)

-Main issue we experienced was poor service/response to our concerns frm the responsible agent,Melissa.Melissa has a pleasant manner but didn’t always respond to our e-mails when we raised concerns. When she did respond,she either dismissed our concerns(“noted”) or didn’t directly resolve the issue.We found MANY issues&wanted good communication on a resolution for major ones that either impacted our enjoyment of the ppty or posed safety concerns.Listed below are main concerns

-Poor communication from on-site rep

-Only 1 key given for our grp of 5 families–difficult for ppl to move in/out of ppty freely

-Poor house cleaning:dust bunnies(staircase & running board),cobwebs&some bugs behind sofas.Both fridges filled with past tenants perishable food(ie ice crm in freezer,exp’d condiments&juice).Little pantry space for our items b/c full from past tenants &had exp’d items.BBQ v.dirty (grill was fine).Leftover swimming trunk&beer can btl found on balcony.

-Inadeq.supply of dishes(esp LG sizes for big grps)&towels(we were told we would be given 1pp but didn’t get this)

-Defective AC in games rm(rm w/ 2 sets of bunk beds)-not mentioned in ad.Fan provided was broken.We used this rm for most of our kids as a sleeping area&NO AC made it uncomfortable.Agent told us to open the window.

-Defective D/W–soap dispenser broken.Agent told us to run D/W by placing pod in the bottom of machine which didn’t result in clean dishes.We resorted to paper plates/bowls.

-Both bunk beds had missing/broken slats

-Door to hot water tank unhinged.On-site rep attempted repair but when 1 of our grp members touched it,door came right off(unsafe)&could have harmed a child

-1 of BR shower drs came off track/unsafe&we had to be v.cautious

-INET connection had issues when >3 dev were connected to the WIFI N/W

-Outdr shower had no hot water-inconvenient if you have kids getting out of the pool.On-site rep told us we could have turned on the breaker ourselves which we didn’t feel was our place to do so.Rep turned on breaker but NO hot water ever came out&was not repaired during our stay.

-BBQ ignition button didn’t work.Advised to use BBQ lighter–but UNSAFE b/c you need to lift the grillπlot hole covered by their stonework

Owner's Response: Amy, Once again, I am very sorry our home was not to your expectations. We do our very best to accommodate our guest. The property is thoroughly cleaned and inspected after each guest departure and attentively prepared for each arrival. All major deficiencies reported are dealt with as quickly as possible, with as little disruption to the guest’s visit as possible (unless of course there is a serious concern for safety!). The dishwasher has since been fully replaced, and the hotwater tank serviced. Of the 18 emails received during the course of guests stay, 11 responses were sent in reply. Three times responses were not sent, instead, the property manager was dispatched to review the deficiencies. He arrived within 30-45min of the email being received. We value your feedback, and will use it to ensure future guests have deeper enjoyment of our home!

Amazing views !!

Stunning , clean , spacious and did I mention the views ?? Omg ! Sitting pool side , over looking the gorgeous okanagan I felt like king of the hill ! The house was sparkling and comfortable Everything is easy to find

We used the bbq every night , but the kitchen is a cooks dream !! I definitely will stay again, as this was the most amazing home I've ever stayed in. Thank you Melissa for making our stay so wonderful and easy !! This location was ideal for our wine touring weekend ! This will the most memorable visit to penticton I'll ever have ! Thanks !

Penticton Ironman vacation at its best

12 of us stayerd for Ironman week 2012. What a way to end off the summer. We have stayed at other high end properies in the okanagan and nothing compares to this estate. House is in great shape with all the amenites that you would ever think of. One extra benefit that we did not know about are the numerous hiking trails that you can get to directly from the property
