About Jennifer VanBerschot
I am an Illinois native who moved to New Mexico after graduating from college. My husband and I have fallen in love with the west. We enjoy being in the outdoors, and our cabin is a testament to our love of traveling to National Parks. When guests are staying at our cabin, you will find us hanging with friends and family at our home in Denver, or going on adventures of our own.

Why Jennifer VanBerschot chose Grand Lake
For us, Grand Lake represents everything we love about Colorado. It is quiet, majestic, full of life, and we can hang outside year-round. This cabin is big enough to host our families, yet cozy enough that nobody gets lost. We appreciate the humble original cabin (you can see photos in the cabin) and the expansive addition. The kitchen is a place where we can make gourmet meals, and each room has a place to let our inner artist shine.
What makes this Cabin unique
Our cabin has it all. We spend a lot of time in our kitchen, where we cook delicious meals. Our kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils, and spices you could ever need. We watch very little television, so while we have a nice television at the cabin, we spend more time playing games and putting together puzzles. The house is stocked with games for people of all ages. We also like to let our inner artist shine, so we have paper, colored pencils, yarn, and hooks to share with our guests.

We loved our stay at this neat little cabin near Grand Lake! The owner was great with communication and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of beds for our family of 8, and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is very close.
A cozy and welcoming cabin
It was the perfect location for our hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of comfortable beds and enjoyed our game of Yahtzee.
Great owner and area
Very nice property, just as described! Owner is outstanding!
We had a great time. The cabin was perfect for families with lots of thoughtful details. The kids loved the toys and board games that were there. The smaller rooms we used for the kids had curtains instead of doors we had white noise machines so it wasn't a big deal for us, but I'd recommend bringing them for sure if your kiddos go to bed before the adults. All in all we had a great time and two families were able to comfortably share the space.
Nice cozy cabin
This cabin was very cozy for me and my wife though it has room for seven. With morning coffee on the deck we enjoyed the local wild life (fox, deer) and friendly chip monks. Just enough seclusion for peace and quiet and yet close to all conveniences of town, lake. We took a short trip hike in RMNP, and to nearby Hotsprings, Co. and enjoyed a day of spa and springs. Owner (Jennifer) was very nice to deal with and would recommend staying here.
Great for the family’s first visit to the area.
Cozy cabin with all the homey touches!
A brief 5-minute drive or 20-minute bike ride will get you to downtown Grand Lake where you can find a public beach and park, as well as a myriad of coffee shops, stores, and casual and fine-dining restaurants. Arapahoe National Recreational Area is all around us – boat, ski, or fish in Grand Lake, Lake Granby, or Shadow Mountain Lake. The west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is 10 minutes away in car. Skiing resorts are also nearby – Ski Granby Ranch is 25 minutes away, and Winter Park Resort is 40 minutes away. Hot Sulphur Springs is 25 minutes away and a good visit all year long!
