Newly built cabin on 31 acres of wooded land with lots of wildlife, and very private. The cabin is provided with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, Bunn coffee maker, towels, washcloths, a stacked washer/dryer, and ice maker. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Our guests can relax to the sound of the creek near the porch, where guests can sit and enjoy a fire in the large fire pit. The owner has built approximately two miles of trails that the guests can enjoy right from the cabin. The property borders National Forest where the well known Columbia Mountain Trail runs the Rocky Mountain Range for miles. Glacier National Park is only 15-20 minutes from the property. The trail head is less than 5 minutes from the cabin. The Flathead Valley is home to the small towns of Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, Bigfork and Kalispell, all within 10 to 35 minutes from the cabin. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax in the evening this is the cabin for you. Due to the 1/2 wall in the loft we can only rent to adults.

Perfect Cabin for a Quiet Retreat
This is a wonderful cabin in the perfect location for exploring Glacier National Park. Its tucked away in the woods and feels so secluded and private, yet you're only 5 minutes from town and 20 minutes from the West Glacier park entrance. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I to spend the week, cozy and comfortable. The front porch is fantastic with the stream running right by and the propane stove was so cozy on chilly mornings and evenings. The decor is spot on and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking in. Laura is an amazing host and answered any questions we had right away. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay here, outside of seeing GNP, the cabin was our favorite part of the trip!
This was a perfect cabin! I can't wait to go back soon.
Great cabin for a relaxing retreat!
The cabin had everything we needed after long days of hiking in Glacier. Everything in the cabin seemed brand new. We loved having coffee in the mornings on the porch and the location was close enough to town while still feeling like we were off the grid. The fire pit looked like a great way to spend evenings, but we were unable to use it due to fire restrictions in the area. The ride to the West Glacier entrance was about 20 minutes and to Whitefish (great town for food and shopping) was about 25 minutes. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at the Timber Creek Cabin.
Thank you for your review. Getting rain today. Weather is cooling, fall is coming. Soon the tree colors will be changing. Hope you will be able to return in the future.
This cabin was the perfect home base during our trip to Glacier National Park. Very close to the West side of Glacier and close to everything we needed in town, yet it felt a world away from the tourist crowds back in the woods on a private lot. Very relaxing. The cabin was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Beds are so comfortable I'd like to get them for my own home. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning, relaxing to the sound of the brook. Laura was wonderful to work with, providing detailed instructions on finding the cabin and other useful info. We had been concerned about being able to find the cabin in the dark when it took us longer than expected to get out of the park, but Laura's directions and lights along the dirt road made it easy. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay, and our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. I sincerely hope we can come back someday to this beautiful part of the country and would love to stay here again. By far one of the nicest VRBO homes we've stayed at.
Thank you for staying at our cabin. My husband and I work hard on making sure our guests are as comfortable as possible. I hope you will return in the future. We are building another cabin a little bit bigger than the Timber Creek. It will be called The Homestead and will have it’s own Creek flowing past it. It should be available to rent in 2019. Thank you again.
My friend and I had a great time at this lovely retreat. The beds are so comfortable and the decor is lovely. Relaxing by the babbling brook in the evenings was my favorite part. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Laura and Ben
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We hope you make it back someday, we are very happy that you and your friend were comfortable.
The cabin is beautiful and the babbling brook is perfect. It is a very new and nice cabin and they have done some nice appointments. The only things that I think should be noted is that there is no air conditioning (as noted in ad) and that there is very little seating in living area. The only seating to lounge is a love seat which is not very comfortable for 2 so as long as you are hanging outside or out and away from cabin you will be good.
Thank you Kristi for your review. There is an air conditioner for the cabin and it was installed after your visit since the weather continues to stay hot. I had to wait for a break between guests to install it. If you would have contacted me that it was needed during your stay I would have immediately installed it. Also there is a couch in the living room that is very comfortable and a rocking chair. There is also a table and four cushioned chairs on the deck that are very comfortable, in addition to the wicker love seat. Thank you for staying at our cabin.
Glacier National Park, approximately 15 miles away. Enjoy hiking, souvenir shops, wildlife viewing or driving the road to the sun.
