Studio, sleeps 2 on convertible beds, one full bathroom with shower
This 50 m2 studio is perfect for one person or a couple.
It is very centrally located right on Constituyentes Avenue, just across the street from the park. From the studio you can walk to the most important museum area in Mexico City. The famous Anthropological museum, the Modern Art, Rufino Tamayo and Natural History museum are all within walking distance. Located in the picturesque neighborhood of San Miguel Chapultepec, this studio is a real oasis in the city. As soon as you walk in the garden and hear the water falling form the fountain you feel far away from the busy street. The studio, located on the 3rd floor, is spacious and full of light. It has big windows on two of the walls with nothing but greenery outside. Double glass on the windows reduces the noise from the street. It has a fully equipped kitchenette with electrical stove, mini refrigerator and all the utensils you might need. The studio has a beautiful private bathroom. Linens are provided and changed weekly.

Why Mariana Diaz chose San Miguel Chapultepec

Beautiful apartment! Perfect location for Chapultepec Park & museums!
My wife and I just returned home after a brief stay at this beautiful studio apartment. To the readers of this review: If you value art and architectural details and want to meet the kindest host imaginable, PLEASE do not look past this small, wonderful apartment! The neighborhood is very safe, the apartment is very clean, the entry garden is stunning, and one of the greatest inner-city parks in the world, Chapultepec, is right across the street. We used UBER to get around; I think it was under $10 to get to the airport. We never had any problems UBERing to all the museums; I think our longest wait was five minutes. A grocery/department store with everything imaginable was a walkable distance. Dining in Mexico City is easy always & everywhere, but we found a wonderful courtyard restaurant right around the corner with a very professional and attentive staff. We have stayed in many apartments around the world; all things considered, this might be the best! We truly hope to return soon! Unless we are needing a bigger space, we never would ever stay anywhere else.
(After reading other reviews regarding the noise from the adjacent large street I was concerned about sleeping conditions. Both my wife and I slept fine. Somehow the constant din of trucks and cars is easier to tolerate than midnight revelers or thin walled apartment buildings. We might pack earplugs for our next visit, but certainly it was not as much an issue as I thought it might be.)
It was a gift in our world to meet you, and to enjoy not only your hospitality, but the art, design, life work and delight within the walls of the charming place you have created. Every amenity was provided for during our stay—and we discovered so many thoughtful details! From paper towels to paper clips, every small useful piece was appreciated. We felt very much at home, and we looked forward to ending each day with music, writing, drawing and reflecting on the adventures of the day within the comfort of the cozy treetop apartment. When we come back to beautiful Mexico City, we look forward to staying in your little oasis again! Thank you from our hearts!
Thank you very much for your kind words. We work hard trying to make our guests welcome and we are very happy that you appreciated the details we like to add to make the difference. Do come back sometime soon. We will be very happy to host you again!
Great location and Raul is a terrific host.
The studio needs some repairs, ie: heating and refrigerator, but overall a great little spot. Our host did bring us a space heater which was very much appreciated. Be aware there are 4 flights of stairs to climb. We just considered it part of our exercise program. The huge park across the street is fabulous with lots of museums. There is quite a bit of traffic noise which we got use to. Overall, a great stay.
Thank you very much for your comments, it is always good to know if anything needs improvement. We have fixed the refrigerator (it was actually only unplugged) and I am glad the heater helped. Those were quite cold days in the city! I hope we can host you again in the future.
Step outside and Mexico City is waiting
As a place to sleep and have access to nearly everything in this city this place was perfect. The studio is on the top floor and, as others have said, is noisy with traffic at night but my earplugs blocked it all out and I slept really well. It does get cold in the studio but extra blankets were available. I recommend bringing long pants and long sleeves to sleep in. The location was the absolute best. We would set out in the morning and not return until late after days exploring. There’s a taxi stand right around the corner and a convenience store also within blocks. If you intend to spend a lot of time in the space this might not be the place for you, but if like us you are looking for a place to sleep and shower as you explore this is the best.
Quaint clean but noisy!
If you are accustomed to city noise it is a nice stay. The owner is extremely courteous and helpful, the space adaquate, location has a lot of conveniences nearby. My only complaint was the non stop noise from trucks, cars and motorcycles.
Well located, clean and very pretty studio
My wife and I stayed 5 days/4 night at the Chapultepec Studio and enjoyed our stay. The studio is charming, surrounded by trees, and located in a convenient area, close to Paseo de la Reforma and to other tourist attractions. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was a cleaning service. I recommend this place and would like to return in a future visit.
Excellent base to explore Mexico City
I stayed at Studio Chapultepec for 8 days during Christmas week. The studio was everything it was advertised to be: a tastefully-appointed, modern and upscale residence across the street from Bosque Chapultepec and within easy walking distance to Condesa, Roma, Hipodromo, Polanca. A 24-hour cab stand is right around the corner, and it is a 5-minute walk to the Metro. Raul and Mariana are sophisticated, charming and responsive hosts; their friendship alone makes this a very desirable stopover. Although the studio is located at the back of a charming garden compound, the noise from the street can be a challenge at night, when trucks dominate Av. Constituyentes. I easily overcame this intrusion with ear plugs and sometimes soft music, so I was able to sleep uninterrupted. I will definitely stay at Studio Chapultepec on my next trip to Mexico City.
In the heart of Mexico City. Very centrally located, just in front Chapultepec Park.
