Nice property & convenient
Great location within a block of the main street shops, wine/beer tasting and restaurants.
Property is will maintained. We stayed in Suite Bliss. Very nice and cozy room. King size bed was wonderful. This is more like a bed/breakfast without the breakfast in that it is a turn-of-the-century home that has been remodeled for guest. Don’t expect the amenities of a full service hotel. Our room had the basic accommodations — iron, ironing board, microwaye, fridge, etc. Other than that you are on your one. There is no daily room service, but plenty of get your own extra towels, etc. We had a garden tub.
We didn’t use the hot tub only because the air temperature was too cold (in the 30s), but we inspected and it was clean and hot and ready to go.
Common area is a cozy gathering room and full service kitchen. I was curious to know if we could have cooked had we wanted (with all the wonderful restuarants in this town, not sure why we would have wanted to). DIY coffee service.
Parking is spacious.
Check-in — Not at the room location and is NOT in walking distance (our mistake). But, was quick and easy. You get a packet that is easy to read and understand.
Outside locks are controlled with a push-button system that did not appear to be functioning when we left (it worked when we got there). Other outside locks worked.
Room door security is not that great (a simple bathroom key lock system and chain).
I wish the hot tub area had a privacy fence — it is basically open for public viewing from the street.
Garden tub jets didn’t work.
Pricing — a little pricey for the over-all experience. But it didn’t scare me away. Had I been looking for more than a weekend, definitely not.
Would I stay here again? Yes because of the location and bed and quaintness of the room. This is definitely something different.
Beautiful, but a few issues.
Suite Bliss was beautiful, but we were met with a strong "old" odor upon entering the room. Next issue was the hot tub outside... we tried numerous times to use it, we would turn it on & set the temp to 101 as per instructions, but when we would get back to the Inn it would either be turned off again or still very cold. So we decided to try the jacuzzi tub in our room. We filled the tub with water & had to press the button several times before it actually came on, then it smelled like something could possibly be burning so we turned it off. The hot tub & jacuzzi were BIG reasons we chose Suite Bliss at Inn on the Creek for our anniversary and we were very disappointed in not being able to use either one. Biggest issue were the biting bugs/fleas in the room. Numerous times my husband found small black bugs biting him on his legs/feet. I do have a few pictures of the bugs if you would like to see them.
Meh. Will probably look for a different property next time.
Bed wasn’t that comfortable. WiFi was horrible. Too much light in the room. Woken up by a crying child, in a no-kid property. On the plus side, it is a nice place and convenient to Main Street.
