Beach saved the day!
You can't beat staying on the beach!
Aside from the location this property was disappointing , especially considering how expensive it is. The garbage disposal was broken when we arrived and the kitchen tap was so loose we thought it might come off. To their credit, property management was quick to respond to our call and were very friendly. The freezer left puddles of water on the floor every time we opened it or used the ice dispenser. If it didn't get wiped up, it made the floor slippery. I can't imagine being there with kids! We didn't call about that or the pocket door in the master bathroom that didn't work, because we wanted to spend our holiday relaxing, not calling for repairs.
The pool was nice and both the pool and deck were kept clean. Unfortunately, three of our seven days there were large groups (over 30 people July 4th) having parties. I felt like an uninvited guest at someone else's party. This unit's balcony is right above the pool, so there was no escaping the party noise. I'm sure at least one family had a unit in the building, but a lot of people arrived from the parking lot, coolers and chairs in tow. We had been given bracelets to wear to show we were from the building, but I'm not sure why as they stayed all day without them. They could have been asked to move their party to the beach, where there was plenty of space.
Thank you for the feedback. The July 4th holiday does get busy with all the visitors! The fridge has been replaced (along with the stove and microwave), and the entire master bathroom has been completely renovated (including the broken door). We do apologize for any inconvenience with the condo, and look forward to helping again in the future. Thank you!
Great place but super dirty!
Mold was on the walls in the master bathroom. Upon first arriving my son took off his shoes and noticed his socks that he was wearing were BLACK from the dirty floor that had only been swept but not cleaned/mopped, The door was off the track in the master bathroom. When i went to take a shower my son also went to take a shower in the other bathroom. My water immediately turned scalding hot and I couldn’t turn it down no matter how cold I turned it. I had to get out and tell him to wait till I was done. Thank god it wasn’t my 6 year old in there. The fridge and freezer had a broken light switch which cause a strobe light effect every time you opened the fridge or freezer.
Nice condo, minor issues
The condo was nice and the location was great. All of the concerns listed in other reviews still exist which was disappointing knowing others had already brought them up: King mattress is saggy and caving in the middle, can’t see the time programmed on the microwave, fridge light is like a strobe light and we Had to place 3 calls to get the chain lock on the door fixed and no one ever called back as requested just showed up when we weren’t there.
Kitchen was stocked well, and being on the first floor was great!
