Nice property. Clean and well kept, but HOT.
Our 1st. trip down to Terlingua. Of course in June. The small A-C unit may have gotten the temp down to 75 degrees by morning every night. Made for very unpleasant nights sleep. Thank you for the outside shower as that was the only one we used, due to the warmth in the room and inside shower. The We stayed out in the parks durring the day. Luckily we brought extra fans to help the fan that was in the room when we arrived. As it is, stay in cooler months and you'll probably be fine.
Nice property but poor A/C
We stayed here when temps were 110, and the A/C was totally inadequate to the task at hand. I would recommend not visiting Terlingua during the summer. Would not have been so miserable if the rooms were cool, but they were not.
Tony gets 5 stars for trying to remedy the situation and getting a fan for us to sleep under. Still it was a very uncomfortable sleepless night. It may have been cooler outside than inside!
You are correct Marc, it gets hot here. With temps over a 110 degrees, it is hard for any air conditioner to keep up. We do hope you visit the Big Bend again when the temps are more comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable
This little casita was very clean and convenient. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Great to watch the stars at night and sunrise in the morning.
It could, however, really use some counter space and any shelving. Also, the bathroom really gathers heat during the day making it difficult to cool the place down at night. I suggest leaving the bathroom door closed so at least the bedroom can retain some coolness.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Agave. It was classy and rustic. The room was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The views right outside the backdoor were beautiful and the outdoor shower was a bonus. We just wished we could have stayed longer!
Excellent desert studio
Quiet, quaint, beautiful stars at night. Perfect stay as we went for the Big Bend Ultra run. Easy to heat and cool since it is a small studio. Small fridge was great for the food we brought. We heard coyotes in the distance on our last night! Bed is incredibly comfortable and cozy.
We're so glad we could accommodate you!! And we think the beds are awesome too!
Very nice casita! Beautiful views!
Very nice small casita that shares a courtyard and entrance with the larger casita. We rented both properties and had a very secluded beautiful space.
