Tastefully decorated apartment.The appartment occupies the last floor, the last but one floor and the roof terrace of a 3-storey town house whose origins date back to 1850.
It is situated just above the perfume and soap museum and enjoys subtle fragrances of lavender, rose and wild jasmin carried upwards by the wind.
The flat was entirely re-furbished and re-designed by a local architect in 2002 and combines modern amenities with a distinct traditional provençal ambiance.

A parking space in a private, closed residence, 100 metres from the apartment is at your disposal and is included in the rental fee. It's a few steps away from the apartment. If your group is arriving in 2 cars and you need an extra parking space, just let us know ahead of time so we can arrange extra parking for you. Parking in Cassis is very difficult.
Cassis is an all-year-round destination with its beautiful setting, surrounded by jurassic limestone cliffs, vineyards, and fig and olive trees. The old quarter of Cassis is now a listed heritage site; its tiny port is charming, lined with pastel-coloured houses and compared with other towns on the coast is quite unspoilt.
Many painters, writers and filmmakers have been inspired by Cassis and the surrounding landscape - such as Matisse, Braque, Dufy, Signac, Winston Churchill, Virginia Woolf, Kundera and Henry Miller just to name a few.
It is also a well-known wine growing region, spanning approximately 400 acres. It’s most famous for its excellent white wines which have a distinct fragrance, with hints of rosemary and heather.
If you’re coming by car, don’t miss the most spectacular drive along the clifftop Route des Crêtes, which links Cassis and the town of La Ciotat through Cap Canaille, the highest sea cliff in Europe. You'll find several panoramic viewpoints, with views over the bay of Cassis.
For a more active holiday, you can try rock climbing, sailing, diving, snorkelling, kayaking or fishing.
The famous Calanques (or Mediterranean fjords) can be climbed and admired from above, or if you prefer something more leisurely you can take one of the dozens of paths offering breath-taking views or you can just admire them from sea-level by getting on one of the many boats which take you to the foot of these beautiful cliffs.
Don’t miss the provençal market every Wednesday and Friday in the village square. You’ll find local produce like olives, cheese, honey, vegetables, pottery and other local arts and crafts.

Amazing Stay
We had a wonderful time in this lovely apartment overlooking the harbor. It has an incredible view, we loved the roof top terrace and it's wonderful set up for a family or even a bunch a friends. Katya was so warm and welcoming and even helped us with our itinerary. I highly recommend staying here! We can't wait to go back!
Impressive
We absolutely loved our stay in Cassis. We fell in love with this little port town and Katya and Patrick enhanced our stay with their kind hospitality and warm welcome. The apartment was perfect, clean, extremely comfortable, convenient to all the shops and restaurants and had gorgeous views. We will be back.
A brilliant stay in Provence
We just spent a week in September at the apartment.
First, Cassis is a great place to stay. It is central to many tourist sites,
easy to get from the center of town to the autoroutes,
a real charmer of a port town, a place to hang out doing nothing but
enjoying the cafes and restaurants, or to hike, swim, sail, go fishing
or scuba dive. Lots of good restaurants and cafes.
Second, the apartment is great. Just as pictured, clean, bright
and large it has a wonderful view, and is 2 steps from the cafes.
We would go out in the evening for oysters and aperitifs and then
return to the apartment for the supper we had picked up earlier at
the market or the food shops.
Third, the owners are available and very friendly.

The second year that we have gone to this wonderful property. It really is magical. The location, the view, the decor, the hosts........you cannot say enough good things !
Heavenly holiday, perfect location, charming and chic 3 level townhome with amazing views of Cassis
Our family of 6 are so grateful to have found this wonderful vacation home with delightful hosts Katya and Patrick (who speak English and French).
There is plenty of room for comfort and lovely spaces to enjoy the spectacular views day and night. There is garage parking available but there is so much to do and see within blocks that we never used the car. Coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the rooftop terrace before a stroll to one of the many portside restaurants. We loved it here and can't wait to return. Thank you Katya and Patrick for sharing your very special home!
