Quaint and private 2bd cottage style home, located on a quiet street just 10mins from downtown Cincy and 30 min from CVG.
Im very proud of the little space and her evolving personality. Just like her little sister-The ever evolving 1bedroom- she has a Pay It Forward vibe where it is our hope that through the families, business men, cute couples, and I Just Needed to Get Away travelers that come through her door , that a little bit of their good energy and maybe a bottle of ketchup lingers and adds to the love she wants to share with the next nomad.
There are two bedrooms, a back master that has a four post queen size bed and the front bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed.
The bathroom is quaint (yes pretty way of saying its not sized for impromptu flash dance mobs ) and equipped with an awesome clawfoot tub(URL HIDDEN)Kitchen has s full sized electric stove/oven, full size fridge, sink, pantry and microwave, toaster and french press. I stock simple things such as teas, sugar, and puppy biscuits. Some spices are also on hand. Most other things are left by people (mustard, ketchup, occasional beer) and after every guest I discretionally dispose of things but leave other things that you might not want to have to buy but probably aren't contaminated like A1 steak sauce. If at any point you're not comfortable with something you may throw it out or ask that I come by an retrieve the items-no biggie.
Yes all the plates can be used to eat on, many people are nervous because they are antique or china but no worries, this getaway should be fun and interesting -lets get crazy and eat off the plates mom only took out for Chris-ma-hana-Qwanzika. The only exception for this rule is microwave heating and that should be limited to clear plates for explosive reasons;)
Guests are allowed just about anywhere on the property. There is a large backyard, driveway, a front porch as well as a small rear deck. I only ask that guest refrain from the basement.
So, similar to my other Airbnb, the house is located on a rather quiet street, hahah let me be clear since location tends to get me the least amount of stars in ratings, the road TO the house is (diplomatically) in transition and coming up. Passing through an area of town that has been neglected for some time and is slowly being revitalized can put some off,BUT the street is actually lined with many older quiet couples, a some active families and a few younger couples. Personally I have two young girls and have no problem letting them play outside or even taking a nice stroll at night with my dog (who isn't protecting anyone hahaha). There's an AMAZING Thai place not far down the road-did I use caps lock while saying AMAZING(?) cuz it is, Theres also a small bar that makes delicious food near by and of course for those less adventurous in the culinary capacity Panera, Frischs, Applebee's, Burger King(walking distance) are all very close by.
House is located down a NO Outlet street, about a ten(wish) min walk up to main bus line that heads straight downtown. There's a driveway but no accessible garage as well as on street parking. About a $12 Uber ride to everything Downtown, maybe $15 to Newport and Covington. CVG is approximately 25/30 mins (my husband drives it everyday) and Walmart, Kroger, fast food and police station are all walking distance or ( unless you are a sworn enemy of hills like myself, if so) a 2 min drive. Shopping, restaurants, library, movie theater, regular "theater production" theater, and parks within 5-10 min drives.
