Best kept secret in Leadville. This place is as comfortable, neat and roomy as any we've ever rented, and have been coming to Leadville to ski for more that 10 years. Angelina was such a great hostess. She changed our original date[because lack of snow], allowed early checkin to allow us to get on the slopes for our first afternoon. The place is stocked with all that you'll ever need for meals and cooking.. It could use more outside parking, especially if you're coming in more than one vehicle. Will I rent it again? ABSOLUTELY! We loved it.We hope to come again in Feburary.
Very comfortable to stay.
Great location for a real mountain feel
We had a fantastic time at Mt. Zion Lookout and enjoyed the closeness to different ski resorts. The high altitude of Leadville was definitely a unique experience (cooking took longer than what we're used to). We especially enjoyed the breathtaking view from the bedroom window. The house is very spacious and clean, the owners are very responsive and provided a nice welcome package with recommendations and information about the area.
Great location, comfortable stay and plenty of room
We really enjoyed staying at the Mt. Zion Lookout. It is in a perfect location for exploring the Leadville area. The place has plenty of room and the stars at night are amazing!
Close to town. Comfortable house
Enjoyed our stay at Mt. Zion Lookout
We enjoyed our stay at the Mt. Zion Lookout in Leadville, CO. The house was very clean and well organized. We appreciated the welcome basket and the information brochures about things to do in and around Leadville. We spent most of our time out sightseeing. The mountains are beautiful and we drove over Independence Pass, explored the area around Turquoise Lake, rode the Leadville train and enjoyed shopping and eating in Leadville. The house was great for our family.
