Comfortable cabin in Blue River

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here Labor Day weekend with two friends to attend a wedding in Blue River. The cabin was in a great location and had everything we needed for the weekend. We didn't have much time to explore the area but went on one great hike and it seems like there are lots of other hiking spots to visit nearby. We would definitely visit again.

Two Fishermen Stay Three Nights at the Blue River Log Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was a total delight - very clean and well designed. We fished in the McKenzie River one day and the Blue River one other day. The fishing was moderately successful both days. The rest of the time we spent the long time driving from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Log Cabin and back.

The double and queen beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything worked. We forgot to start the hot water heated when we arrived, but we quickly found the problem and corrected it.

My wife and I have already reserved the cabin in August. Rating = ++.

Off the grid magic

  • 4 of 5

My husband, 8 yr old son, and I had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed other than food to enjoy our time. There is a great collection of DVDs for entertainment, but we spend most of our time sitting around the fire pit enjoying s'mores and hotdogs. The Blue River Market had a great variety of foods and goods. Just a friendly PSA; we did not have cell service at the cabin and would have had to walk a bit in order to make a call/ send a text. If you have AT&T you may run in to the same issue. Since we were well prepared and happy to be off the grid, this was not an issue for us at all. We would love to stay again.

Amazing Get Away From The Crazy

  • 5 of 5

It was an amazing time for me and the girlfriend for our one year anniversary! Did a ton of fishing on the Blue River, caught mainly Rainbow Trout but one really nice 26'' bull trout! Which of course we released! But very clean and welcoming place! One down fall was we were hoping the cabin backed into the river, but the river is just a short 2 min drive away! Overall impression was AMAZING!

Thanks y'all!
