Very Pleased

  • 5 of 5

We were in Santa Fe for part business and part fun. This location offered us a speedy connection to 599 to get around Santa Fe quickly. Also we were happy to find convenient access to trails (no driving) to get some exercise in before starting our day. The house had all items we needed and Christie even had some food available when we arrived.

I was concerned that two people from Florida may freeze in December, but the casita was always warm and welcoming from our travels.

The location also allowed us to get a better idea of how to travel in and around Santa Fe.

My husband loved the whole experience and we would stay again.

Quiet and better than a hotel

  • 5 of 5

This is a nice place with living room kitchen and bedroom. The owner provided food for breakfast and snacks which was above what was expected. Just a few miles outside of the center of Santa Fe so convenient all the way around. Less expensive and much better than staying in a hotel.

Cozy space, feels far from the city but only minutes from downtown.

  • 4 of 5

The space was cozy and perfect. With the added touch of a few things in our fridge upon arrival, like eggs, yogurt, butter, and chilled water, we were able to start our first morning without much hassle, which was very helpful & nice. Being out of the city was nice but coming into the property late at night was a bit confusing, even with the owner's very detailed instructions.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review, Melissa. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the Casita. The feedback about finding the Casita at night is helpful. If you have a moment, could you let me know what would improve one's ability to find the property? Would it be something that I can do such as lighting or signage? Or is it something further up the road that I would need to coordinate with the County or neighbors to improve? Thanks again! Christie

Off the beaten track but convenient. Christie was a wonderful hostess... Fresh bread, coffee, peaches and eggs in the fridge. Casita was clean, quiet and restful. Perfect!

Welcoming

  • 5 of 5

Can't imagine a more perfect place for our stay. It was peaceful & calming. Everything about the Casita was perfect. Only a short drive to pick up anything we needed & to eat. The little extras that were left for us were a wonderful surprise! There was plenty of room for the four of us & the walk/run path was great. Edmund (cat) welcomed us & we felt he approved our stay! We would recommend it to everyone. Location was great for our day trips to the ruins & Taos. Another trip to this area & stay at this Casita is in our plans.
