My name is Tommie Jones. First of all I want to welcome you to New Orleans. "The Delery" was the first home I ever purchased. I could remember being blown away by the architecture and the open space of this historical home. When you want to truly feel the vibe of this great city and get a since of culture " The Delery" is the place. This home was built in the mid 1800's and is registered locally and nationally historical landmark registry. The home is located across from the Old Jackson Barracks military base, which is still the home to the Army National guard and a host of other activities. The Delery is approx 10 to 15 mins from the French Quarters, This home is breathe taking; pictures can't do it justice. "The Delery" features 12 foot ceilings, original pine floors, crown molding, 3 large bed rooms, ceiling fans, central air and heat, master suite with stand up shower oversize jet tub for 2, open kitchen, Large yard with seating and a grill, off street parking. The home can sleep up to 10; and yes every one has a bed. master suite has a King, second bed room has two full beds, third bedroom has two full beds, I have roll away beds and air mattresses upon request.
. The home also has shuttle services and real New Orleans cooking if you desire for an additional cost. If you have any question please contact Mannie or myself with anything you need. Thank you for your time

About Tommie Jones
Hello I'm a Fire Captain with the New Orleans Fire Department. I have served the community for over 17 years. Born in raised right here in New Orleans.
Tommie Jones purchased this House in 2001
Why Tommie Jones chose Holy Cross
I decided to create the DELERY because I felt with New Orleans being a tourist town, The tourist needed to know there was more to the big easy than just the French Quarters. New Orleans is rich in history, from the rivers to the Bayous'. the Delery is located 3 blocks from the river with a great view of the city; and a few blocks from the Bayou.

The place to stay!!
If you are coming to New Orleans this is the place to stay. A beautiful charming home with everything that you could possibly want or need. The home is even nicer than what the pictures show, the beds are so comfortable and the location is great. Close enough to easily get downtown but far enough away that it is a quiet friendly neighborhood. Tommie is amazing, he goes out of his way to make sure you have an amazing time. He even picked us up at the airport when our flight got delayed and our arranged ride couldn’t pick us up. There was 4 of us, my 88 year old Mom, myself and husband and 16 year old granddaughter. We could each have our own room and we took advantage of the whirlpool tub after a long day of walking around the French Quarter. There is absolutely nothing negative about this place!!!
Awesome Property for a couples trip
Our stay at The Delery Chateau, was very fitting for our Kings and Queens couples trip. The NOLA hospitality from Tommie was beyond satisfying, he was very helpful and accommodating. The car service to and from the airport was on time and safe. We used the local transit service, for the weekend $3 a day for a jazzy pass, hop on and off the transit bus and street car. The 88, from Delery and St Claude dropped you off at the corner of Rampert and Canal. Our trip was beyond the best one yet. Thanks Tommie, we can't wait for our next trip to Chateau Delery. Thank you again,
The Rose, Fleming and Golden Families

Lots of beds that are super comfortable
Five women traveling together each had our own bed. Only 1 shower but 2 tubs. We had a rental car as this house is in the ninth ward and a good 15-20 minutes from the French Quarter. Parking is expensive . It cost us $28 in a lot for 12 hours. Tommie responded well to texts and brought us fresh towels when needed. There is no toaster which would have been nice. It worked out great for our group.
Very cool place to be
Before arriving we received emails regarding instruction on how to enter and what to do once we arrived. There was no trouble at all finding the place and the home was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and very accommodating for our group of 6. The only downfall was the yellow school bus parked near the driveway. We had an suv so it was kinda difficult to maneuver and had to back in but that’s not the owners fault. The neighborhood is quiet and not a lot of traffic. The uber ride to the quarter ran about $17 for the weekend. We Enjoyed the stay very much!
Property as described and pictured
Got a chance to meet Tommie who was very nice and came by to bring us a few things. We enjoyed Mardi Gras, NOLA and his place and would definitely stay again.
