Nice neighborhood, safe, close to some activity.

We had a great stay in Montreal. Denis (owner) greeted us and was very polite and accommodating. We speak only English, and this neighborhood (including stores) is more limited in English than downtown, but most people spoke enough for us to understand local attractions, etc. The metro was a 10 min bus ride away, and from there we could reach most of Montreal in 10-15 minutes. There was a grocery store nearby, as well as a few restaurants and a bar. We would recommend the place to anyone looking to stay near Montreal but not right in the heart of the city.

Perfect Home Away

  • 5 of 5

This really suited our needs. Very lovely open concept apartment that has everything you'll need! The kitchen is well equipped and in good shape.

Well decorated with excellent lighting that really adds to the ambiance of this apartment.

Peace and quiet guaranteed, at the same time it's a very easy walk to stores, cafés, restaurants and park. We came to work for the week and it was always nice to get back "home" in the evening. Parking wasn't difficult, which we were a little worried about at first, but no problems. Once parked, we hardly ever drove our car. It's also close to a metro station.

The owners are pleasant and gave us just the right of information we needed. Not too much and not too little. They can be proud to have such a great place to offer on Home Away. Bravo Five Stars.

  • 4 of 5

Apartment is very nice and conveniently located to 2 metro stops, nice grocery store and restaurants. It is very clean, well maintained and has nice amenities. The neighborhood is very quiet. We did not rent a car and we did everything we planned for our trip. Denis is a great host, very nice and very helpful.

appartement tres confortable

  • 5 of 5

Perfect Place!!!

  • 5 of 5

We have spent 2 months in this apartment and we had an amazing experience. All the facilities and appliances are in excellent conditions and functioning perfectly. Everything you may need for a longer stay is available: cleaning supplies, good internet, dishware ... everything! Denis (the property owner) really thought about all the things any guest could possibly need.

The neighborhood is also fantastic! The apartment is in a calm street, full of trees and absolutely silent. However, if you walk just one block, you have the Av Beaubien, where you have lots of bistros, restaurants (pizza, sushi, diners, you name it), bars, a very nice park, cozy groceries stores, SAQ (the main wine store in Montreal), and many other stores.

The other avenue just one block away, called Rosemont, you have a very good supermarket, a huge drugstore, pubs, places to eat late at night and a 24 hrs store at the gas station.

The location is perfect either for short or longer stays. You are close enough to downtown and the old town (4 metro stations), but not too close to be in a crowded neighborhood. The place is also close to other neighborhoods that are worth a visit, such as Plateau Mont Royal. Although there are many options in the neighborhood, if you decide to enjoy your evening in other neighborhoods, the best places (bars, restaurants, clubs) are a few stations away or less than 10 minutes by Uber (and cheap: about 15 Canadian Dollars)

We had a absolutely perfect stay in this place during the winter, and we are planing to return as soon as possible.

By the way: Montreal is an amazing city and incredibly "alive" no matter how cold it is!

Thank you Denis!
