About marin tudor md
I am a retired surgeon. My wife Barbara - an RN, my children and I are enjoying very much outdoor activities. Peninsula Community, located within reasonable distance from our home, with its amenities and location satisfies most of our demands.
marin tudor md purchased this Condo in 2006
Why marin tudor md chose Millsboro
Many times in the last five years I enjoyed spending time at the Peninsula, together with Barbara, my wife, my children and their families. I discovered this place five years ago and, each time I planned a visit, I found I was looking forward to it. We preferred the location of this property closer to home than to go farther South.
What makes this Condo unique
Biking few miles in the quiet hours of the morning through the winding roads, passing by the lush lawns beautifully landscaped, the few lakes with their fountains, the fairways, the potting greens, biking when the roads are empty except for few little children riding their bicycles, biking to the fishing deck to see the mist still covering the bay or biking to the private beach watching the little crabs running in the water, biking through the swamps and the nature trail, frequently a challenging ride caused by the bulging roots, is an invigorating and healthy experience.

Spacious/ Well Appointed/ Extremely Accomodating/...and that wave pool!!!
The instructions we were given were helpful and made entering the gated community and then finding the condo quite easy.
The condo was a ‘wow’ immediately upon entering. My daughter, son in law and my two, 4 year old grandchildren, arrived a couple of days prior to my husband and I, and called us immediately relaying how perfect the community and home were.
When we arrived, there was plenty of room for us all to relax and have space. Throughout the condo everything was so well organized. The screened in porches were relaxing with a great view of nature. The kitchen was quite large and we were able to enjoy some family dinners there, as well as venture out and about to several restaurants.
The big hit of this vacation was the wave pool. It was very well suited for younger kids, as well as teens, and my grandkids couldn’t get enough. Yes, the amenities do cost extra, but we all agreed it was worth it.
My family took a couple of side trips to Ocean City and The Air Mobility Command Museum an hour away at Dover Air Force Base.
I highly recommend this rental unit. It was clean and welcoming, making our vacation memorable and relaxing.
Accommodating, beautiful, and quiet.
The condo we stayed in was tidy, 8/10 for cleanliness, and completely equipped for anything you would need for a longer stay...complete kitchen, laundry room, dining area, living room, and screened in porches. The pier was gorgeous. The athletic center and indoor pool/hot tub were great, but the cost for use is pricey. Overall the resort area is very nice, and perfect for someone who wants to stay and enjoy the resort (golfing, pier, nature trails, etc.), and occasionally go out to the local beaches. It did take 25 minutes to get to Rehoboth beach which was a con, but it was definitely a nice place overall.
Great place, Great location, Meh pricing!
Vacationing in DE was a first for my family of 5. We will visit the area again soon, though maybe somewhere a bit more "beachy".
We chose this location because we were looking for a slower pace with a relaxing feel. It will not disappoint if that's what you are looking for. The nature trails were a wonderful challenge (it has just rained so our jogging stroller went mud bogging). The golf course is in fabulous shape. The fitness center and pool are worthy of 5 stars, and so is the price. The price for the pool areas, currently, is $85.00/wk per person over 5. While they are very nice, that's quite an expense to pay on top of the condo itself. That price is solely for the pool.
My wife and I and three littles (5, 3, 1) were not cramped at all in the unit. There was plenty of space for all of us to feel comfortable. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are all open lending to easy watching of the kids. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are small but very functional. The kids slept well in the 3rd bedroom which is laid out with 2 twin beds that are low to the ground. Great for little people to get in and out of.
The master and accompanying ensuite bathroom are wonderfully sized and laid out. The bathroom has a long, deep, very nicely sized soaker tub. The shower has a "rain" shower head which is a nice touch. The master bed, however, lacks terribly. It's small and very firm. Restlessness was king for us for the week. The only limiting factors for us from a 5 star review are the pricing at the athletic center and the extraordinarily uncomfortable master bed. Every other amenity is spot on.
Thank you! We will correct (the mattress)
Well appointed, comfortable condo set in a very serene setting. Loved the screened in porches.
We stayed here with our two kids (3 and 11 months). The place has a booster seat, high chair, and pack and play, which made travel very easy for us. The water at the beach is calm and shallow. The Penninsula property overall was very peaceful. We loved the nature trails, and we enjoyed the inside pool and activity room during a rainy day.
Happy you had a good time. Thanks.
We had a terrific family vacation here!
Renting in the Peninsula was a great decision for us! We stayed for a week in the middle of August. The facilities did not feel overly crowded at all. We would journey to Rehoboth (only 30 minutes away) and spend the first part of the day at the beach, then head back to use the pools and game room into the evening. We only ate out for dinner twice as the kids (age 7 and 10) were quite content for a simple dinner back at the unit and to settle in and watch a movie or play a game before bed. They were tired!! A few days between beach visits we were happy to spend poolside. There were always plenty of chaise lounges with sun umbrellas to choose from. The kids literally spent hours running between the gorgeous wave pool (using their boogie-boards and pool toys) and the indoor pool. There is a restaurant and a snack bar to eat lunch, ice cream, smoothies and the food is reasonably priced and very good. We played a lot of air hockey! We never had to wait for a game to become available.
The unit itself is very clean, very spacious, and was perfect for our family of four with room to spare. Next time we know we have room for the grandparents. The appliances worked beautifully. It was great to be able to throw the beach towels and bathing suits in the wash every night. One afternoon I went for a walk on the trails while my husband took the kids to the pool - so much to explore and nature to see. It was very humid the week we were there so we did not use the balconies, which are screened in, roomy and private. Perhaps next time! The bathrooms are spacious and we especially liked the large master bathroom and walk-in closet to stow our suitcases.
If there are some small things to mention as a negative, I'd say it would have been great to have a bigger bed in the master bedroom. Also, as the unit is backed against the woods it tends to feel a little dark (but it's not like we spent a lot of time in the unit during the day!). Also, at first we were disappointed that the kids could not use the adult outdoor pool as it is for 16 and older, but as it turned out it didn't matter at all. The pools are all the same depth (5feet at their deepest) and it makes sense that pool floats and boogie boards are allowed in both the indoor pool and the wave pool. The facility fee seemed expensive at first, but it was well worth it; we used them every day and it made our vacation! We will be back.
Great family vacation!
We had a great family vacation at the Peninsula Resort! The accommodations were stellar with a large kitchen and two private terraces. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation. Everything was within close proximity to the apartment and there were tons of fun activities for the kids. The biggest hit was the wave pool and I really liked that there was a separate pool and hot tub for the adults. The kids also enjoyed crabbing on the pier which was walking distance from the rental. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking; there was something for everyone! It was truly the best vacation we have had in years.
