About Janine Jolley

Gloria and Newel have a 20-acre ranch with 13 horses, with children and grandkids living all around them. Gloria is a well-known oil artist with 700+ paintings all over the U.S.. Newel retired from teaching guitar at a local university. They own a music publishing company, with books that sell internationally. The cabin they rent to others is much like the cabin they live in, so visitors get all the amenities, including the view of the 50 deer that feed with the horses in the winter.

Janine Jolley purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Janine Jolley chose Teton Valley

Victor, Idaho is the gateway to both Yellowstone and Targhee National Parks, with the world-famous Tetons. Jackson Hole, Wyoming is 22 miles away. The finest pioneer museum in the U.S. is but 12 miles away in Driggs. Golfing, rafting, hunting, fishing, downhill and cross-country skiing are all the best here, and close by. Horse-back riding is expected! The snow at Targhee, Teton Village or Snow King is the best in the United States. How about climbing the Teton Peak on New Years day?

What makes this cabin unique

Serene privacy and quietude, with near-by amenities. Weather is cool (80-85 degrees/daytime and around 40 degrees at night) and consistent in the summer. Sleep with a blanket at night - go in shirt sleeves in daytime. Scenery of the Tetons, lakes and rivers is unparalleled. Nice restaurants and movie theaters are near by.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a great little cabin in a comfortable and quiet setting. It was so nice

spending time sitting on the porch. So much more relaxing and enjoyable than

a hotel room.

Thanks Newel and Gloria

Clean, cute and comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this well appointed little cabin was great. The location for exploring in Idaho and Wyoming was good, Victor is a nice little town with enough restaurants and a good market. It is close to trails, Jackson and the Tetons. Only issues that might bother others is non-existent Wi Fi and it is right on an unpaved road and there is some traffic that goes by.

Relaxing in the hot tub at night was also awesome. Appreciated that it was pet friendly with a nice fenced in back area. Would definitely come back.

Nice place to spend some time

  • 5 of 5

We just spent a week here for the solar eclipse and to explore the surrounding area. We found the property clean and comfortable, the jacuzzi was very well kept. It's not quite as private as the pictures suggest and the wifi is barely usable, but as a place to relax after a day of hiking and driving, it's pretty much perfect. The night sky is very dark here and you can do some nice stargazing from the property. Look to the market in Victor for your provisions and take a little time to explore the center of town.

Wonderful cabin very well appointed and a beautiful area!

  • 5 of 5

Gloria was a great host who was quick to help us with any questions or anything we needed. Loved the hot tub and appreciated the fire pit. Location was quiet and in such a beautiful area. We loved the Grand Tetons and the drive over the pass was amazing as well. Couldn't have lived a better place to stay in our visit to the national parks.

Cute and small. Very accommodating

  • 4 of 5

Not a lot of frills but has everything you need to relax. Great if you have two couples and some small children. The upstairs is definetly only for small children. Adults would have to pretty much crawl up there. It is a bit of a drive over the pass from Jackson but a good alternative to save some money compared to accommodations inside Jackson Hole. No AC though. Nights were cool enough and has several ceiling fans.
