THIS IS A TRUE 2 BEDROOM UNIT!! 2 Bedrooms + Bunkroom!!! Not a 1 Bedroom + Bunkroom. The Lighthouse is the newest and one of the nicest condominium complexes in Gulf Shores, and the largest condominium building on Pleasure Island! Lighthouse has all the most desirable amenities, both in the complex and in this immaculate unit. Our unit is on the 15th floor, but if you prefer to be on a lower floor, ask about our 7th floor unit (LH 713 - VRBO# 94933). 1507 is directly on the beach, with a large balcony (200 sq. ft.) facing the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Master bedroom and living room have sliding glass doors (and floor to ceiling windows) leading to the balcony, providing incredible views up and down the beach. NEW 43' and 39' flat screen TVs, plus BluRay/DVD, in Living and Master Bedroom! King size bed in master, queen size in 2nd bedroom. NEW 24" flat screen with built in DVD player in 2nd bedroom. Queen size sofa sleeper, plus a bunkroom (bunk beds are suitable for children only). Now with new KEURIG in kitchen, brews K-cups or carafes! Free WiFi in unit - bring your laptop!
The Lighthouse is near restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Sea and Suds is in walking distance! Complex amenities include: two outdoor pools (including a zero entry pool), one indoor pool, two hot tubs and an exercise room. The Lighthouse condominium is located on Highway 182 (East Beach Blvd.) 0.7 mile east of Highway 59.
DUE TO CONDO REGULATIONS, WE CANNOT RENT TO GUESTS UNDER AGE 25.
*Please Note: Altho we are pet lovers, Lighthouse has a strict 'No Guest Pets' policy, which they have begun to vigorously enforce. If you are found to have a pet on premises, you will be subject to immediate eviction.*
Parking passes must be purchased from Security upon arrival.
Now a non-smoking building! Smoking is not allowed in the condo NOR on the balcony areas. There are smoking areas under the East and West garage ramps, and at the East end of the building in the grilling area.

Great condo great location and being on 15 floor you got great views. My back didn't like furniture.
Overall great experience, but we chose not to rent again because of furniture situation.

My Last VRBO Rental
The condo was not bad. It certainly could use some updating. The LR TV is smaller and of a lesser brand than the MBR TV. The problem I had was with the owner. I waited until 10:00 AM the day of my arrival and I still had not received the entry information from the owner. There is no phone number listed on the website, only an email address. I emailed her and she never responded. I waited and waited. I finally telephoned VRBo/Homeaway and after talking with three different people and spending an hour on the phone, the owner sent the access information to the condo at 2:00 PM. That was too stressful. Never again. I learned my lesson. I will rent locally from now on.
We are so sorry for any inconvenience that this guest experienced. An email with check-in info and access code was emailed 2 weeks before arrival date but apparently was not received. Our phone numbers, both cell and home, ARE listed on the website. I received a call from VRBO alerting me to this guest's need for an access code and immediately provided a new code that VRBO passed along, and then followed up with an email to the guest, who was able to enter the unit at 2 pm (ahead of our posted check-in time of 3 pm). Again, we do apologize for the difficulties that this guest experienced. We strive to provide a great stay for all our guests!
This is my family's 5th year of staying in this unit. All the accommodations of home. A place to relax and enjoy the view from the balcony. CAN'T wait til next year!
Incredible view, great location
The condo was great. Super close to all that Gulf Shores has to offer, and just a few steps from the beach. The bunk room is a really nice addition that allowed for everyone in our group to have their own beds. Beds are comfortable, and it's nicely appointed overall. The next time we're in Gulf Shores, this will be our first choice.
Family vacation 2017
For the most part we had a great stay
1. The condo was in good shape and clean when we checked-in.
2. The beach and pool area were clean and well kept
We had a few observation that I would like to bring to the owners attention.
1. The kitchen faucet leaked
2. We did not have water on the morning that we checked-out; which made our last morning a bit trying.

Also, we're sorry about the water being out on your departure morning - as we understand it, that was a building-wide problem and beyond our control, but we apologize for the inconvenience that it caused!
