3 BR home located in the heart of Marathon close to beach.

Our large property is on a quiet culdesac and includes a large tiki hut/bar, plenty of sun or shade and is furnished with a dining table, picnic table, ample seating and lounge chairs for sunbathing. We also have a wonderful, secluded outdoor shower for a true island experience.

Inside you'll find large, clean and newly remodeled/decorated common areas with plenty of seating, fully equipped luxury kitchen, bath with tub/shower and beautiful bedrooms.

The house is very well equipped. Contact owner and/or check the amenities on this site before packing extras or stopping at the store to stock up.

About Judy Jones

We have been visiting the Florida Keys for many years, most recently spending the winters in our motor home at nearby Sunshine Key Resort. We absolutely love the beautiful waters, world class fishing, and laid back "islandy" attitude in the Keys. So that we can visit more often and come and go easily, we purchased this home in September 2016.

Why Judy Jones chose Marathon

Jim loves to fish and Judy loves to be creative. Since our home is surrounded by deep-water canal, Jim can dock his boat a few feet from the back door and be in the ocean in minutes. Judy enjoys artistic painting and decorating and saw the property as a perfect palette for her creativity. Both enjoy the fabulous seafood and fun night life that the Keys offers! There are so many restaurants and Tiki Huts just a few minutes away (by car, bicycle, boat or kayak) we find it hard to get around to all of them!

What makes this house unique

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, Vida de Agua offers a private and quiet setting where you can relax, yet is walking distance from stores and restaurants. In 5-10 minutes you can be at beautiful Sombrero beach, the Seven Mile Bridge and numerous museums and attractions for adults and/or children.

The house itself is newly furnished and equipped with everything you would need to feel right at home. We provide plenty of linens, beach towels, iron/ironing board, washer/dryer, hair-dryer extra pillows, games, cable TV and wifi. If cooking is your thing, our kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of pots/pans and dishes. We offer a two-person kayak and two adult bicycles for guests, and if more are needed, there are rental centers nearby that will deliver them to the door.

For the fisherman, we offer our guest a free dock in a deep water canal and a beautiful new fish cleaning station with fresh water to clean fish and wash down your boat.

There is plenty of seating both inside and out where you can dine, relax, read a book or just watch the sun rise and set over the canal.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This home was beautiful. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by our host. After explaining everything we needed to know, we were left alone to enjoy the peacefulness of the home. The scenery was relaxing. The house was on a very big lot on a canal. The home was very large and spacious. It had plenty of seating room and sleeping options. My favorite part was the different eating places outside and the tiki hut. Very nice and worth the money.

Awesome house, great location, wonderfull owners, perfect vacation spot

We couldn't have been happier with the property and our stay at Vida de Agua. The house was in immaculate condition and came with many extras including bikes, kayak, games, beach equipment, etc. The house was very clean, comfortable and came fully equipped with all the necessary household and kitchen items needed. The new Tiki hut and expansive dock on two sides made outdoor relaxing a real pleasure, not to mention the awesome fishing from the dock and water front views. There are many restaurants and Tiki bars easily accessible from the property's mid-island location. Also, Sombrero Beach, which is the nicest beach in the Keys, is in close proximity. The owners, Jim and Judy, were fantastic and a delight to interact with. Thanks for everything. I didn't know two weeks could go by so fast. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing house, comfortable, clean and very relaxing.

This house was the best. We had such a nice time there. The house was clean great access to everything, the outside porch and dock area was the best thing about the house. Quiet and simply beautiful. I highly recommend this house

Comfortable, roomy and covenant

We had a great vacation! Of course in the south you have to plan around rain and wind but we just found other things to do during those times. The boys fished from the dock daily, we used the boatdock daily too. Thank you for the use of the kayak and bicycles. The only down side we had is the bedroom that didn't have an A/C it got quite warm in there. The rest was awesome! Including the Manatee and iguanas! 😁?😁?😁?😁?😁?😁?😁?😁?

Wonderful house, fantastic owners.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and it could have not been more perfect. The location, hospitality, property and views were spectacular. Cannot wait to return here on another vacation.
