About Patricia Taverner-Peck

I am originally from the UK, but have now made Winston-Salem my home where I find all the things I most enjoy: history in Old Salem (which reminds me of an English country village), the arts - great theaters, galleries, UNCSA and Reynolda House; super restaurants and bakeries catering for all tastes (some of my favorites are The Tavern in Old Salem, The West End Cafe and Mozelle's); wonderful trees and flowers and countryside; super friendly people; trips to wineries, state parks, skiing all within a couple of hours, and easy road trips further afield to the coast or other cities and states. I hope you will enjoy staying in my beautiful, sunny house ... I have tried to think of all that I would like to find in a vacation rental. I live in West Salem, and thoroughly enjoy the area, walking my dogs in Old Salem and Washington Park, making my way downtown on the lovely, shady Strollway, enjoying the arts at UNCSA, and visiting all the nearby coffee shops and restaurants.

Why Patricia Taverner-Peck chose Winston-Salem

I lived in this beautiful house for a few months when I first moved to Winston-Salem and fell in love with the area being so close to Old Salem, downtown and some great parks. It is a super cute house, very stylishly renovated and has a very welcoming, comfortable vibe.

What makes this house unique

I love to sit on the front porch with a book and enjoy the breeze, and in the summer the flowering crape myrtle trees are quite lovely.

Sweet Craftsman

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were in town to attend a festival and celebrate our wedding anniversary. The house was so adorable with everything that we needed. The owner was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Not only did the home come equipped with everything we needed, the owner had left a little welcome basket with goodies and some info she had printed on something for us to do while we were in town. She also includes a book on everything there is to do locally from restaurants to farmer's markets, etc.. If we go back to Winston-Salem, I really hope this house is available. We would be thrilled to rent it again!

Beautiful clean home close to town!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this property. Everything was clean and beautifully styled. We enjoyed walking on the Winston Strollway which we learned about from the informative packet in the house. Such a quick drive downtown. Highly recommend!

Beautiful rental house, that we would stay at again!

  • 5 of 5

The house had character and charm, with touches of modern flair. The house had everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this property to anyone searching for a great house rental in the area. We rented the house and spent time with our immediate family and grandkids. Our 2 dogs were able to travel with us and this experience exceeded our expectations. Patricia is very detailed and all of her helpful hints and suggestions placed throughout the house were greatly appreciated. Patricia welcomed us with a gift basket and treats for our dogs. I was very impressed with our overall experience and the price was a bargain, compared to staying at a hotel. It's easy to tell that Patricia loves this business, as she is very concerned about the renter's experience. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area. Thank you for an awesome vacation with our family.

Beautiful home in a convenient area

  • 5 of 5

The home was very clean and neatly decorated with a modern design. Owner thought of everything, from a well designed welcome book to a Bluetooth speaker for music to plenty of towels to a very nice welcome basket including wine. There were even little decorative notes pointing out things you may need to know such as where a power switch is. Overall a fantastic experience!
